The Academy can go pound sand for excluding Shannen Doherty who was in Heathers and Mallrats for chrissakes.

Yea that was really disappointing. Not a good look for the Oscars

This happens every year, someone gets mad because _________ wasn't included. It's sad, but they can't include everyone. It was a bad year for loss.

Donald Sutherland, James Earl Jones, David Lynch et all took up the limited time they have available for in memoriam.

They can’t include everyone, but it sure is a long segment, and this seems particularly glaring given the recency and sadness of the young age. I’m sure it’s partly because Buffy, Eurotrip etc are not exactly Academy type genre. Meh.
