New Member from San Francisco - Bay Area
Hey all,
Have frequently visited the site to read forums and only recently took the initiative to register. I grew up collecting Barry Bonds cards in the 90's and have a renewed interest in cards the past several years. Nowadays, the 49ers are probably my main PC and sports, but I do think baseball has the best sets and nuances. I will always enjoy seeing rare or unique Giants, 49ers, and Warriors cards, although I usually connect more with cards of players I actually watched play. Looking forward to connecting and learning more. |
Great to see another person from the SF Bay Area here. Welcome!

Thank you! Looking forward to exploring the threads.

Also in the Bay Area, but more inland between SF & Sac. Solano County to be exact and a transplant with no real ties to any major city/franchise. Viewed your website, very impressive collection! |

Back in the day it was Williams, Yaz, Rice & Greenwell with the intent to groom my son to be the next in line. Pressed too hard, he developed a hatred for the game. Also liked Ryan, Ripken & Gwynn. Grogan & Tatupu on the gridiron. Bird, Robinson, Duncan & Barkley in roundball. Then life got in the way, was instantly intrigued with Lebron and admired his maturity at 18. Didn't care for 'The Decision' and the fandom's waned in recent years although I still consider him the greatest all around. Though Mariota's career would pan out better, went big on him but nothing crazy. Same for Ohtani but was fortunate to get in on the ground floor when he was Otani, again nothing crazy but still a decent collection. |
Welcome to the forums, you a Purdy fan? Heard Bonds will have autos in upcoming Topps Baseball products in 2025.

I was also a Mike Greenwell fan growing up and David Robinson too. |
