Didn’t find a pickup thread for the new year, so here we go

This is my first Japanese card. Been wanting a pre-MLB Ichiro for awhile and this one seemed pretty cool. Diamond Heroes looks like a Fleer Metal-type set? I know nothing about NPB cards, so correct me if I’m way off

Got this in the mail today and I also have a second coming next week. I didn't think I would win the auction at $65 top bid and I offered $65 for this one. I have the Platinum already and wanted a matching card. As a Yankees fan, I get excited for new players. Going to get the Gold /2011 and maybe a few other variations like the Blue/Red. The Cognac cards are so much nicer in hand then the pictures make them look!

Thanks! I have been really going after more modern stuff with everyone going after vintage and with the stupidity of Kurt's Card Care targeting vintage cards. The ability to soak and manipulate vintage stock is kind of turning me off right now. I also don't care about true RC's with modern players. I want the more scarce and aesthetically pleasing cards over what people say is the "RC." I had some Judge RC's and XRC, but none were special to me and I traded them all away or sold them. I think I just want a nice Judge on card auto.

The Corey Seager All-Star auto came yesterday. Complete my set for the Rangers starting lineup from the 2023 World Series game 1.

Tried to go all on card with a throwback design/feel for each one. Mitch Garvey was the only one I could not find in a Rangers uniform.
