Can You Help Identify This South American Spider-Man Comic Book Series?

I believe my parents bought this comic for me about 20 or so years ago when they went on a Caribbean cruise. I recently included this in a comic submission I sent to COMC but they can’t identify the comic.

Can anyone point me to a link to the publisher of this or other comics in the series? I’d like to forward that info to COMC to see if they’d list it. Thanks!

Sadly the book is now in the hands of COMC so they’d have to check. It looks like “forum” has produced a number of Marvel reprints over the years… I just can’t seem to be able to trace this particular issue to match with a series. It’s not a huge biggie, but don’t really want to pay to ship the comic back to me so it’s kind of “stuck” there if they won’t list it.

From Spain, not South America. From 2002 or earlier based on the price (PTAS = pesetas, Spanish currency until it was replaced with the Euro in 02)

Awesome… thanks for the link! I see they have other issues listed as well (No. 19 being Daredevil). Not quite sure what I will request COMC to put in the title… maybe “Spiderman Nº 20 - Forum”? Is Forum the name of the comic title and the company is still Marvel … just a Spanish subsidiary?

It will probably end up that COMC won’t list it.

This is the publishing company: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planeta_DeAgostini

Comics Forum, I assume, is their comic book division. The problem with finding out anything about it is every permutation of “comics forum” in a Google search just gives results for message boards

I didn’t notice the first time, but the FF4 ad on the back states it’s from 2001, so there’s your publishing year. Matches the timeline you gave, and finding it in South America makes sense since a lot of those countries speak Spanish

Search for “Planeta DeAgostini comic” on eBay and you’ll find a good listing template. I like the one MyComicShop uses
