Albums for sets
I have a bunch of sets I would like to buy black albums for to put in a bookshelf. Is there a brand you recommend that holds the cards well? The full Topps sets including update can get pretty heavy. I like to use Ultra Pro Platinum pages and not sure if the 1000 count binder side loading pages protect better. Thanks!

I usually just get UltraPro or BCW whichever is on sale. Not sure about series 1 and 2 and update in the same binder as even the older sets of 792 are pretty tight in a 3”. I would lean towards a splitting the series into smaller binders.
I always use UltraPro platinum pages. The silver leave a lot to be desired. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I use Ultra Pro 3 inch albums. Large sets like Topps have to be split into two albums. I’m not trying the 4 inch Avery binders because I think it still wouldn’t fit in one album.

I love the BCW binders.

As much as I love the backs of baseball cards, I'm trying to get my collection to a manageable size. So I've been moving all my sets into those premium binders with the black pages where the cards are back to back.
The space saved is worth it. And they still look great. And if you know where to look, you can get the premium binders pretty cheap. |

I believe the sets that total 850-950 fit the 4 inch binders… anything over that needs a 5 inch binder. I would love to find a premium 4-5 inch black binder to put the reg and update set in one binder. |

I do too… but need a lot in 4 inch and some in 5 inch and they don’t sell them in that size. |
