Tracking Your Collection
I am looking for a way to track my collection and organize it into categories. I collect graded and raw. For example I am working on HOF registries, but don't want to do it through PSA or CGC. I just want something that I can take pictures of my cards, organize them into categories like a HOF RC Baseball, and it would be nice to have the ability to share my collection.
I know the hobby is about $$$, so I don't think there will ever be a tool produced for just collectors. I don't mind paying if there is a service that fits my needs. I tried CollX, but don't like that it is just an app and no desktop functionality. Market Movers makes you pay $50 a month for having over 250 cards, so that is out. I am well over 1000 slabbed cards alone. I don't mind paying $100 to $150 a year for something like Card Ladder, if it has the functionality I need. I could do this myself the Insta or Flickr, but would like some type of card platform. Thanks for any help! |

Then, people here on Blowout saw a screenshot I made of it and asked me to make it downloadable so I did. It's called Sports Card Database for people like me that just want to track their collections on a desktop computer (MacOS or Windows). Looks like this: I made it a flat one-time $20 to buy, (basically because I have to pay Apple $100 a year for a developer's license) but you can download the demo for free to see if you like it: https://www.inakasoftware.com/SportsCardDatabase Cheers. |

Super cool, but unfortunately I don't have time to list each card I have. Need some type of platform to take a picture with my phone and have AI help to fill in the details. I plan on having 5000 cards plus listed with pictures. If my kids knew more about sports cards, I would have them use your software and pay them to do it form me. ;) |

I tried out so many of those apps and found them all lacking. Eventually I just said screw it and made an excel spreadsheet and started tracking things manually. Most of those apps are way more geared towards people just looking to flip cards rather than collectors and its pretty clear. Even for that purpose the values they auto-populate are often wildly inaccurate. So much so I'd rather take a couple hours every other month or so and just update my spreadsheet based on my own research over having one of those apps automatically give me bad info. |

It is a lot of work up front but thankfully you only need to do it once. The updates are pretty easy after that. Adding new cards and subtracting sold cards is pretty easy as long as you do it pretty frequently. Any database is only worth the time spent keeping it current. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Ludex, and then locked into subscription for life. |
Trading Card Database - you can have your card in multiple collections so one for you raw and one for your graded. May not be what you want but take a look if you haven't already.

Are there any of these online platforms that will pull information from PSA, SGC, and CGC with images and card information? A bunch of my slabs are CSG/CGC and it would be nice to just put in the Cert Number and it is done. Even nicer if I could import a list of Cert Numbers and it could do hundreds of them. ;)

Decided to give Card Ladder a try. I wish it was better with CGC cards, but the import function for PSA/SGC is nice. I like that you can use the app and also desktop.

Vintage Card Prices
I use vintage card prices but you have to do all of the inputting yourself. Once it's loaded up it's great to keep track of daily price changes.
