It's most likely due to the fact that the top 2 cards had the random auto aspect attached to them.

I think it helps that you could also get them from the Fanatics website. Not sure if all Topps Now stuff gets put up on there.

Had some older guys at the local gym (who aren't into sports cards at all) tell me they picked up 10 or 20 for the chance at hitting the 1/1.

The reason the gym guys knew it was on fanatics was more likely because of Sports Center or Card Tok or whatever.
