$1800 of the prize money will go to league pool.

The other $600 will go to week to week match ups. This is created to keep the bottom dwellers interested in the league and not to abandon them.

We have a 12 team league, and the dues are $200 each team.
[B]$2400[/B] total in the Pot.

$1800 of the $2400 will go to what we call the Championship pot.
1st - $900
2nd - $600
3rd - $300
Playoffs start week 16 & 17 (Top 4 get in)

$600 of the other $2400 will go to the weekly match ups.
weekly match up starts week 11 to 15.

Team A plays Team B on week 10 - Whoever wins this match up wins $20 for the week.
Team C plays Team D on week 10 - Whoever wins this match up wins $20 for the week.

this will continue from week 11 to week 15. That's 5 weeks total. Each week there will be $120 in play, which brings the total of $600 for the weekly match ups.

...should go w/out saying, but we want to be as ahead of the game as possible if we're going to avoid last year's debacle. And, from where I'm standing, we're already not exactly "ahead of the game" here.

i took your advice from last year too and made the payment deadline a bit earlier. i think 2 weeks is more than fair, if not generous.

sent PMs yesterday and got a few more in today. getting closer and excited for the season :D

I'll be paying tomorrow or Wednesday.

4 to go, but deadline is tomorrow.

Hope I'm wrong, but looking like a good chance we wind up needing a couple backups. I hope on Thursday morning they're ready to sign up and pay so we don't have a repeat of last year.

If the remaining 4 payments aren't made by the deadline of the 28th, I will have to back out.

Two weeks is more than enough time to pay the dues. You shouldn't reserve a spot if you're not able to pay in a reasonable amount of time.
