Dealer cost of 2024 Topps Chrome Baseball Jumbo Hobby Box

I got a great offer for a box of 2024 Topps Chrome Baseball Jumbo Hobby Box. But I think its too good an offer. How much do you think dealers are paying for this product? I don't want to get scammed. It's not so low that its a definite scam, but its lower than anything i've seen offered.

Also, just interested in what they pay. Anyone have any idea?

It's a scam if it's an offer on Facebook.

Fantazzle 08-05-2024 03:35 PM

It's not on Facebook.

Fantazzle 08-05-2024 03:35 PM

Actually on eBay and it's a discount for multiple boxes.

Ebay is one of the safest places to buy from. Even if its a scam ebay will nearly always side with the buyer. The worst thing that can happen is your money is held up for a bit.

Still would like to know what a dealer price is roughly for a box of 2024 topps chrome jumbo box. Any ideas or guesses?

ThoseBackPages 08-05-2024 04:37 PM

For Jumbo? Probably around $200

baseballbunez 08-05-2024 04:57 PM

It was in the low $300s

I know a few vendors that got well below that. Maybe not everyone gets the same pricing.

what kind of seller are they?

what i mean by that is, there are some good wax sellers on ebay (but they usually are not the cheapest).

then there are sellers who may (or may not depending on who/what you believe) open boxes from a case and once the big hit is gone, sell the rest of their boxes (usually at a lower cost).

If the deal is too good, it could be stolen merch.

Well they have a good rating.

Can big hits be gone from a case? I guess they can if there is 1 in a case...nm. The whole thing is a little wacky, but the price is good (not $300 good, but low $400s).

Who cares? It would be nearly impossible to know anything like that for sure.

I’m not sure why you’d be that worried about low $400s. That’s well over dealer direct pricing so they’re making a good profit.

OP cares. He asked a question and I gave a possible answer.

$410. I just have not seen anything close to that good a deal. That's my concern, but I have decided to go through with the transaction. The lowest I have come across through bidding is $450.

Well prior to this post, I didn't know it was that big a markup.

Wasn't the presale on a jumbo box $399?

I buy and sell THOUSANDS of dollars a year on Facebook and have yet to be scammed. Going on 4 years now. As with any platform, common sense and a little due diligence goes a long way.

green4407 08-06-2024 11:18 AM

Paying $410 for $50 worth of cards doesn't sound like a good deal.

Fantazzle 08-06-2024 02:43 PM

Hey if you anyone finds 2024 topps chrome jumbo for less than $410, be happy to take off your hands. PM me. I don't think I'll come across anything cheaper than that even if it is $300 for dealers.

timber63401 08-06-2024 04:26 PM

You cant get a straight answer because the dealers don't want you to know how high the mark-up is and how bad we are getting stuck.

jjcan 08-06-2024 05:52 PM

Gosh for $400 you can buy from 2024 Topps Chrome

a Jackson Merrill auto, Jackson Churio auto, Jackson Holiday SP and few other inserts of Elly, and that would be an awesome box!
