Which old guys would you like to start seeing autos of in UD products?
A few for me that are PC guys
Eric Desjardins Byron Dafoe Sergei Fedorov Tim Thomas |
I'd be down for some Timmy Thomas autos. Been tempted to snag one of the existing few out there.
There seems to be a lot of autos already out there, and the demand for the second or third tier players isn't great so I wouldn't want UD's products flooded with cards of no value, either. |

And Dafoe was in SP Legends so its not like its been a decade since he's had an UD auto lol

Kariya never signs but I would love to see him in some new UD products.
Aside from him either Chara or Thomas for the Bruins. |

Not an auto but I would love to see some cards of the Stanley Cup champ Seattle Metropolitans. Maybe some kind of Past/Present insert with Hall of Famer Frank Foyston and a current Kraken player. 1993 was the last licensed card to have a Metropolitans player.

But if they couldn’t convince him to sign during his brief re-emergence around his HOF induction I don’t think it’s going to happen. Never say never though, Panini managed to get Tim Duncan signing again after not signing since the 90’s. Also very unlikely but Ken Dryden would be a huge get for UD too. |
Id like to see more of the Heroes of the 90s, Kariya, Sakic, Forsberg, Lindros, Hasek, Hull…. guys like that.

The obivous ones that don´t sign a lot (or at all), for sure.
Kariya is pretty much at the top for me as well. Imagine him on the 1997 Auto Legends set. Ironically Stevens, too. Then Fedorov, Mogilny, Chara, Shanahan probably. Not as old or of the same status but I always found it wierd that Corey Crawford doesn´t have a single licensed auto. PC wise I would love to see some more high caliber players that do sign plenty, be featured on lesser associated teams. Wendell Clark, Doug Gilmour, Paul Coffey, Peter Bondra in a Hawks jersey would be sweet. Theo Fleury just got one in Stature. Even Bobby Orr only got 2 or 3 at all. Edit:
Eric Desjardins
Agree with this one btw. Will always remember him from that Series vs. LA. Brisebois was in SP Legends but not him. |
