Hey all! First post…just sharing an almost finished Ted Williams card.
I do these in pencil and acrylics. (edit: scroll down for all additional art postings) |
Well that's one heck of a first post. Beautiful card. You are very good at what you do!

Nice Ryno too. Now, let’s make them easier to see…

Bob I have pulled your sketches before from the non-sport cards realm.
Your work is top shelf and so are these. Glad to see you in the sports sketch world. |
These are amazing! You are very talented. Just curious as to how long from start to finish does a card like the Sandberg take you to complete?

Ryno took about a day, which is the minimum for a return card. Other returns or commissions sometimes take a few days. The tools I use are very time consuming, even more so at this small size, so a lot of extra prep and care has to be taken throughout to hopefully make it slightly more unique. |
Full pic (fixed!) on the Ted Williams card :)!

How long to you think it would take you to do a full set for Topps? Just like these - no additional frills or embellishments. It’s all a baseball card needs to be

That's a great looking card!

Thanks Reggie & Archangel!
How long to you think it would take you to do a full set for Topps? Just like these - no additional frills or embellishments. It’s all a baseball card needs to be
Hi Scooter—not sure how many cards that would be….but if they’re a little more simple with less detail it could be maybe 2-3 finished cards per day. This one is a return card, so more detail means more time & effort going into the final piece. |
I don’t think I’ve ever posted this one anywhere before, but I also did this Javi Baez as a return sketchcard, same set as the Ted Williams. :)!
(Sorry for the jumbo file size! …will be fixed as soon as I get back to my laptop) |
File size fixed!
