2024 topps sterling
 

OMG! watched about 50 breaks at $500 a card this is the worst I have seen Topps produce. No name players, 90% of the patches are napkins. What kind of drugs are these manufactures taking. Its getting worse and worse what is going on????

you are right on and sooner or later someone will step in because it beyond gambling. You spend $10,000's and you may get a hit. Its so compulsive gambling that no one want to talk about

“Patches that are napkins” is quite the contradictory statement.

I also don’t really see any “no name players” on the checklist.

Of course you’re not going to get your money back like 99.9% of Topps’ products. Quite the quandary here; the prices of singles appears to keep going down yet the price of wax keeps going up.

At least it is a 2024 product - people still spending money on 2023 are out of their minds.

Cards are nice looking, but I keep hearing / and this Thread is confirming, that getting a desirable Hit is brutal ….

I'd be done too. The Greenberg won't bring back half a box price and Grace Sandberg I'd guess isn't too hot either.

For $560 I bought a case of 2022 Topps Heritage High Number. That is my gambling on wax every year. Topps Heritage has on card autos and real game used relics. Sterling has way too many sticker autos and manufactured relics.

Anyone seen any Henry Davis pulled yet?

I don’t think you quite know what you’re talking about. Neither sticker autos or manufactured relics are in Sterling.

Oops. In my old age I am losing it! I have a few Sterling HOF autos and I swore they were manufactured relics. I got them out and it says, "The relics contained in this card are not from any specific game, event, or season." I misread that when I got the cards and thought they were manufactured. Says, "Game-used" right on the front!

I also have some sticker Sterling autos, but they were from 2007 - 2009. I thought they were more recent. :doh:
