No Autos in Prizm!!!
 

We just opened a hobby box at our LCS. All garbage and NO AUTOS!!!

Has anyone else experienced this, and what are you all doing? I saw on Geofff Wilson's channel, he reported this and says, it's pretty widespread. For those of you that say, yes, that's an average of 2, show me all the people that are getting 4 autos a box which I have not seen and Jeff stated the same thing .

FWIW, I also hit exactly [I]ZERO AUTOS[/I] from two hobby boxes (admittedly; my own [I]stupidity[/I], for giving in to the temptation).Poopnini's already checked-out of the hobby! And in case you also weren't aware; 2023 R&S Football (retail) has a [U][I]SHART-TON[/I][/U] of Poopnini Points, in-place of [I][U]actual[/U][/I], autos! That equates to..."redeem these points for any number of left-over....Frank Ntilikina, Jaycee Horn, Daniel Susac, or any other number of undesirable, uncollectable, & (essentially) worthless autos....your heart might ever desire, from the Poopnini website!!

If I had the time, gumption, & practical resources, I'd..."head the charge", in a Class Action lawsuit against Poopnini! [I]This one[/I],...would all but certainly be indefensible by Poopnini! There's far too many examples where it is [I][U]CLEARLY[/U][/I] demonstrable that...."2 autos, 'on average'", is [I][U]NOT[/U][/I] the reality of the matter!

Has Panini even addressed this? The lack of statement tells me everything I already knew about this company. The day they exit our space can't come soon enough and we should throw them a New Orleans funeral when that day comes.

It's always been really hard to hit in Prizm with how deep the checklist is. I'd be bummed about missing auto's, but the reality is people don't buy prizm for the auto's, it's about the color. The auto checklist is largely trash.

With no disrespect; you're missing the point!

You enter a raffle. Prizes are advertised/marketed as (keyword: [I]advertised/marketed[/I]) as:

Top prize(s) - 1 of 10 cars
Second prize(s) - 1 of 100 vacations
Third prize(s) - 1 of 10,000 can openers

...but in [I]REALITY[/I],...there's only (example) 4216 can openers, available!! That's [I]MISREPRESENTATION[/I] and categorically & blatantly [I][U]LYING[/U][/I]!

Granted, not the "bestest" of contrasts, but it more or less....pounds home, the point. [I][U]NO ONE[/U][/I] is entering the raffle for the dang can openers!! But if they're truly not even[I] AVAILABLE[/I], then that means; there's NO CHANCE IN HADES,...that I'm gonna' get one! And In the specific instance with Poopnini declaring that there's...."2 autos per box, on 'average'" (again; blatant & categorical, [B][I]DECEPTION & LIE[/I][/B]!!), it's almost certainly... a winnable case, if contested in a court of law!!

But with this [I][U][B]particular instance[/B][/U][/I], (23-24 Prizm Basketball Hobby) there's [I]FAR TOO MANY[/I] documented & presentable-nuggets where it could be demonstrated that...."2 autos per box, on 'average'" is [B][I][U]DEFINITELY NOT[/U][/I][/B]...what the producible results, are!!

Although this is true, with how much of a bloodbath this is getting every little bit back helps even if it's just $1-$2 autos lol

You missed the "on average" statement on the box? If you watch breaks, you will see that some boxes have 3, sometimes even 4 autos per box. If that's the case then on average it looks as if there are 2 per box even if some have 0.

Par for the course with Panini. It's up to the consumer to hold them accountable because you can be 99% sure they've covered their asses with the fine print somewhere.

I can appreciate a thread that gives a glimpse of everything wrong with the hobby in under one page of posts.

It’s even worse because there’s less players for them to get autos from due to guys like Wemby signing with Topps.
