It’s hot.
Ac isn’t working. Convention center is broiling. Terrible experience. Curious to what the hosts are saying.

Man, what a bummer for everyone. Hope they can get the AC working.
|
Oooweeee! The smell of funk and heat in that place must be terrible,
|
Is there a ton of people right now?

People always say so many people stink already. This must be making it 5 times worse.
|
If A/C isn't working in the midst of this heat wave, well it's going to be a long few days. Yikes.
|
That's terrible on the part of the event organizers and even more so the owners of the joint.
|
Is it really that hard to have the National at a decent place? I mean seriously. Ghetto Atlantic City or Chicago with no AC. Why not, oh I dunno, Orlando, Denver, Nashville, Raleigh? My gosh.

It’s right next to OHare, not in the projects. Hot/very humid days are rough on a AC unit. |

The A/C is probably working but this hear is kicking it's ass. If it was 75 outside, then the a/c would probably be doing it's thing

True, but that's why you can generally add more/bigger AC units if what you've got can't handle the load... |
I hope this means smaller crowds when I get there. I would take that trade off.

Or just a ton of people there who smell like swamp butt. |

Sounds like a great line to use in show advertising |

84 degrees 72% humidity 74 dew point |
It’s going to be hotter tomorrow, plus more people. Brace yourselves.
|
The AC is working to an extent. If it wasn't at all, we'd all be in hell because it's scorching outside. Not comfortable inside, but at least it's bearable within reason
|

Tomorrow will not be fun, calling for 90+ with rain. |
Fanatics would source a functioning convention center.

Can’t they put the fan in Fanatics? |

The AC CC isn't in the projects either. It's surrounded by a nice hotel, solid restaurants and shopping. |
Maybe Juneau AK can host the next National. That’ll solve the problem.
|
It's in the mid 80's and humid...people really think commercial AC units aren't built for that? Guarantee the corporate offices have AC.
Wonder if the Phoenix CC has their AC working in 108... |
It was worse yesterday
