What's that got to do with anything? I am not phishing asking for simple advise. |
Move on, he's going to be forgotten.
|
Why would you move at this point?

You said hold or sell...we said sell to highest bidder. Did you forget your original post? |

League only has room for one (1) additional slenderman hobby hype this year. Sorry, OP.

$10,000 into Chet at current prices or $10,000 into Wemby at current prices?
I just turned your brain into a pretzel |
I’m positive you couldn’t find a worse time to sell than right now

I just turned your brain into a pretzel
why not $5k on for both? |
Most likely makes sense to sell, or perhaps wait till August/September. Sure he hasn't played it but like any young guy the hype is built in already. If he starts out season playing mediocre, the value could easily be cut in half. If he balls out a bit, value might just increase 20% or so. Many times people overestimate how much a young guys cards will go up if he's playing well - Very rarely is there a huge jump. Plus if you do end up selling once he starts playing your card will be lumped with hundreds of similar other cards of people who "waited to sell" until he starts playing too.

I just turned your brain into a pretzel
markets aint efficient bruh |
Ive seen one video of him in 6 months. He was playing working out/playing ball on the court in a bra.
|
If you hold him you might as well hold him a couple years because OKC is going to making a leap very soon and he could be a huge part of that.
|
I'll give it a 40% shot Chetneck has a better rookie season than Slembenyama, granted he completes most of it outside a hospital room.
He's a much better perimeter shooter and has a very similar defensive profile and is very efficient around the rim. The biggest roadblock is how much offensive usage he'll be seeing with SGA at the helm. |

If you've been awake at any point since early 2020, and still contemplate dropping $5-10k on Chet, then you are beyond any advice anybody here could give you and should be studied for science.
|
Chet will be better than Wemby this year, partially because the Spurs will bring Wemby along slowly.
|
He's probably playing a game or two in summer league in a few days. Might be a good time to sell if he has a good game.
