Hey everyone,

I'm thrilled to join this sports card forum and introduce myself and my artwork. My name is Ryan, and I reside in the beautiful island of Maui, but I hail from Boulder, Colorado. Sports cards have been a passion of mine since I was just 12 years old, but an unfortunate incident at a young age caused me to take a 20-year hiatus.

When I was 13, I experienced a heartbreaking moment when two precious Goudey Babe Ruth cards and a creased 1956 Mantle were stolen from my table at a card show in a mall. It was a devastating blow, and it led me to step away from collecting cards for two decades.

However, about eight years ago, my love for sports cards was rekindled when I attended my first card show in two decades. The passion and nostalgia flooded back, and I knew I had to dive back into this incredible hobby. Since then, I've been an avid collector, attending card shows and immersing myself in the world of sports cards.

But my connection with sports cards goes beyond collecting. I have become a baseball card artist, and it has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I've taken thousands of baseball cards and meticulously cut them up to create stunning mosaics of iconic players. My artwork has garnered attention from various media outlets, including ESPN, Fox, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, The New York Post, and the LA Times, among many others.

I've had the privilege of working with Hall of Fame players, both past and present, as well as professional sports teams. One of the highlights of my career was seeing my artwork displayed at Citi Field during a sold-out game, an experience I'll never forget.

I'm excited to be a part of this forum and share my love for sports cards and my unique artwork with all of you. I look forward to connecting with fellow collectors, discussing the latest trends, and exchanging knowledge about this incredible hobby.

Awesome story Ryan, sad to hear about your loss of cards early on but it’s so incredible you were able to come back into the hobby! Your artwork is stunning, such detail and I’ve never seen anything like it! So cool that your work is getting the recognition it deserves, these should be up in cooperstown.
