The photoshop on his face doesn't. They have made him look like a cross between Leatherface and Rocky Dennis.

After Select it's a little depressing to go back to /299, /250, /225, /199, /175, /150 parallels, even some inserts will have /150 parallels.

It's going to be even sadder if I have to move away from Topps Chrome. I'm getting older and everything, but the thought of paying good money for comic book inserts, players imposed on artwork sourced from Fivver, and players with photoshopped lycra and masks or whatever just puts me off.

The "Hobby Master" inserets could have been classics... resembling Panini's Nobility, but then there's the garish and horrific text shoved on top. Just leave the card plain with the players name. That's it! less is more!

Just give me Topps Chrome 18-19 again. Please.

I usually go in for a case but really depends on the rookies and price point. I am ok with the overproduction if it brings cases down quite a bit. $500-600 a box is ridiculous, I don't care how SP it is.

In other news the Topps Chrome Barcelona boxes were dropped on UK and sold out. Still up on Germany though but $200 a box for 2 autos.

Ngl, the Topps Chrome Barcelona tempted me, but as i secured an Inception already, i think i'll pass. Now if they do one for FC Bayern, i'm all in

I grabbed a Barca box, but if were doing team only releases give me my Gunners.

I picked up a Barca one, more for the two autos than any sort of rookie chase. I haven't seen any breaks yet but singles have been popping up from China.

There are a lot of Son inserts I'd buy before this one.

I was referring to the multi-colored background design, not the fact that Son was pictured on the sample card.

Is this replacing Topps Chrome UCL, or just in addition too? I hadn't seen Chrome UCL hit a release calendar yet but can't imagine they abandon their best brand

Not in addition to.

They switched it to include all UEFA comps so they could include Arsenal and Manchester United.
