I like the gold
|
Looking forward to seeing the price-point.
|
Great looking cards most every year, but a breakers dream product.
I would love to be able to see cases for less than $2500 again, but will likely be over $3k. |
This the new record holder for 2022 product released latest into 2023? Now at 4/12/23
|
In for 100 cases
|
Product of the year

Ehhhh, no rookie iron ons. I’m out.

Probably one of Julio's most wanted RCs.

Could be 2022 Topps Chrome Platinum. Right now that one is April TBD. |
Checklist?

These will be his only GU on card patch autos with an RC stamp, so absolutely will be. Even Wander only has a very, very small number of those at this point. |
Topps needs to consolidate all it's "one pack per box/no base set" high-end releases into a single product....
The only people who are interested in these are breakers/gamblers.... And given how much difficultly Topps/Fanatics is having getting releases out the door these days, releases like this seem like low-hanging fruit for cutting.... |
Any guesses on opening preorder pricing?

$700-$800 a box. |

Why? Is it because of how Soto's exploded or why? |

I personally know hundreds of people who have been waiting for the release. |

That’s actually pretty impressive. Not just to know hundreds of people, but to personally know hundreds of people waiting for Dynasty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
2020 is probably my favorite design for Dynasty. With that being said I really like this year’s design except I hate when they only leave a tiny little area for the player to scrunch their auto into. It reminds me of these abominations from 2019 Definitive Collection:

Hobby odds posted before the checklist. Let's Go:

BO was at $879 preorder per box yesterday.
|
Were there Dynasty pack odds in the past? I appreciate the transparency, but this doesn't feel like a product where the pack odds are all that important.
And $879 per box is just... you take a loss on 95% of the cards in the set? 98%? People gonna be selling Paul Goldschmidt /10 Dynasty cards for $600 to try to get their money back. |

Even many 1/1’s won’t get you your money back. This is one hundred percent a breaker product, and it is priced for them. At close to $4500 per case, there are enough degenerate gamblers out there who will wager $150 a random team because, hey, you can pull a babe Ruth cut auto for $150. Sign me up a hundred times! |
My only dynasty card I bought for under 70 dollars. An Aaron Nola patch thing. It's strictly gambling. I guess some people enjoy that aspect of the hobby.
