Would you trade a Crosby yg psa 10 for an Ovechkin ygs bgs 9.5
 

I already know my answer but curious on everyone else’s opinions?

For the record, I have the Crosby psa 10 and the other guy has the ovi bgs 9.5 (9.5 x 3 with one 9)

I only have the one PSA 10 in my collection but I feel like once ovi breaks the record, I can either hold onto this for awhile or sell it and buy another Crosby and still have some money left over. Only thing I don’t like is that it’s barely a 9.5

I'm OCD, so I don't think I'd do the trade unless it was a quad 9.5 Ovi :)

I don't really think there's anything Crosby can do at this point to up the value of his cards. The team isn't winning anymore Stanley Cups.

The goal record should give Ovi's cards a bump, but I haven't checked their prices in a while, so it may already be "baked in".

Ovie prices are already really high... but I do think they're is still room for them to creep a little more.

What subgrade is the 9 on the Ovie card?

Corner sub grade is a 9

I would keep the Crosby. Right now Ovi is at the peak, this is not the time to value these two cards. Over time, I think Crosby is the bigger play.

Id keep the Crosby as well. All time Canadian Hero vs. Russian guy that no one likes. Its like.... Barry Bonds vs Mickey Mantle.

He sure costs a lot for a guy no one likes.

I don’t think he asked who he should date.

Sid the Kid all day… just for the fact he will be remembered like Wayne, Bobby, Gordie, Mario and all the great Canadian players… Ovi will join Tretiak, Bure, Kovalchuck and the other Russian players.

IMO, record or not, one day Ovi will drop significantly below Sid.

Do you honestly believe Ovechkin or any other hockey player is ever going to crack the top 5?

As I mentioned, Sid’s longevity is being a Canadian hockey legend… whose name gets mentioned in the top 10 Canadian hockey players often.
