Old news but good informatioin CGC Banned
Many seem to think CGC/CSG are perfect. Knew about this a long time ago but never wanted to post about it. But users here seem to think what i post is made up.
Fun reading. https://the-comic-book-forum.boards.net/thread/1615/cgc-employees-permanently-banned-astroturfing https://mt-moon.proboards.com/thread/21152/cgc-employees-astroturfing-e4 Dont want to read, watch the vid on youtube |
I’d rather have CGC employees on here astroturfing than having to read your garbage takes.

I learned what astroturfing is today, that's been going on for decades everywhere.

Are we talking about the urban dictionary astroturfing definition? |
While bad, I can't help be a bit meh about this scandal. Compared to all the trimming, favorable grades, passing patch swaps, etc from PSA and Beckett this doesn't register much. Or am I missing something?
If you believe CGC (my cynic brain does not), these were done by the employees themselves and have been reprimanded. Not a good look to not disclose themselves as CGC employees for sure. These feels like paid Amazon reviews. How trusted were these accounts in the Pokemon community? Like long time members or are new accounts that were created to do the covert advertising campaign? |
If a TPG offered Pressing for cards in the future, would it be acceptable ?
Kind of a grey area if restoration services were offered to cards. |
Guess I struck a nerve with ya Grade.
CSG to the moon! Dont care about CGC pokeGrading , to each their own. CGC comics already at the moon! Clear cut #1 |

Grade, you have CGC graded cards for sale in the Gaming BST section.
I’m confused. |

Does TAG measure card thickness? :D
If the market accepted pressing there would be no real issues. The comic market accepts pressing of comics as acceptable. |

I’m confused.
I was a early supporter of CGC. But they changed grading standards to give out 10's easier recently, Changed the labels, changed turnaround times, owe me some money or credits which has still never been settled. CGC is fine if someone used them now. But for the early supporters, CGC sucks. Early supports have overly harsh graded cards, no perfect 10's if you did not pay for the subs . Use all the TPG's , give all of them a try. But just posting my experience with CGC. They all have faults, but for me CGC is the worst experience by far. |

Does TAG measure card thickness? :D
You would have to press the card below 55 pt thickness for TAG to grade currently :)! |
