Wait... what? No one said anything? Duke women's basketball.
This is just mind boggling. How did no one on the team stop playing and alert their coaches or referees? And to complain like it could affect their seeding down the line... :coffee:
I'm sorry. Anyone who has played a sport with a ball for years should be able to tell right away if a larger, heavier ball is being used. I remember in high school playing basketball in gym class (yes kids... we used to have a class called gym) if I picked up an under or over inflated ball...I immediately knew and I didn't play every day of my life. https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/35580414/duke-kara-lawson-says-men-ball-used-1st-half-vs-fsu "This would never happen in a men's game. This would never happen," she said. "It's embarrassing for our sport." "To have a game that, at the end of the season, could be the difference between a seed, between a title, my players don't deserve that and neither do their players," Lawson said. "It's a complete failure. And you can figure out who the people I'm talking about that failed the sport and our players and both teams." The players complained but kept playing with a ball they thought was wrong  |

Exactly. If you've never shot a women's ball, you should know the difference. They are kinda small...

Good thing Florida State played with a women's ball while Duke played with a men's ball.

Yeah, it's not like they played with a nine foot rim on one side and a ten foot rim on the other for a half. |
Didn't Kobe notice the rim being off by an inch or something
