Why was arteepower's thread about leore ripping him off deleted?
https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1279835
Just curious. Did Leore get his lawyers to threaten Blowout like that one weirdo on his altered LeBron RPA or did Artee initiate the request? |

Legit bro, check his threads started page:

Interesting.
There could be others but at least the opening page was archived. https://web.archive.org/web/20200904171639/https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1279835 |
You can still find it all here. You might want to archive it soon though

His business is probably hurting and he wants someone to blame. Blame it on the thread where he's been called out for being a thief. Probably how he got his initial investment money in the first place. Rob someone and start a business, great strategy. Unfortunately seems to have worked for him.

I would like to here Blowouts explanation though. Maybe they'll chime in. Probably right they got threatened with a lawsuit.

That thread was a wild ride. Shame it was deleted.

Didn't know about this, is he getting ready to sell? |

I wouldn’t touch ALT with a 100-foot pole if I was a PE firm for a lot of the reasons stated above. It’s a #@#@#@#@ site run by an alleged crook. Hard pass. |
Leore Avidar is a scam artist. That is one of the scariest reads ever. I hope someone can save that thread so it never has to go away for good. It never should.
Really sad that Blowout would delete that? Why? Such a bad look... |
Not a great look for BO..

That Dentons cease and desist .pdf hit different.
Leore out here strong arming kardboard victims like Suge in '96. |
So if I have this right from a quick skim of the original thread:
Guy screws over another guy, first guy becomes some big-deal influencer, evidence of his screwing over someone is quietly removed from public view. Yeah, sure, try pulling that fast one on a well-trained philosopher, see how well you do on the merits. (Apparently some people don't mind presenting a bad look, which is a character flaw in its own right. Go around doing things that look shady to anyone with common sense, and then somehow expect no one to call it out? (See, e.g.: nonstop "news" media gaslighting during the last US presidency. I'll call these pseudo-journalists traitors to their profession and to humanity, without hesitation, no kid gloves or hedging, they're trash.)) |

Anyone got the TLDR version of what happened?
|
Anyone got the TLDR version of what happened?
been a while since I read the whole thing, but this is the gist of it: Artee sold leore three Kobe cards leore sends those cards to psa psa says two are fake and one is real psa pays leore the money for the two fake ones leore keeps the money (scams psa) and the one real card Artee doesn't get paid leore blames Artee for there not being any resolution Artee posts proof that puts leore down for the KO |
No matter how much these guys and companies fight, you cannot stop gravity.
So much VC money wasted. How many card bros quit their places of employment to pursue hobby ventures full time, only to be facing a tsunami of risk that they hadn't truly measured? Alt, PWCC, Goldin, etc... All will face the crunch. Probably still 12-18 months away from some really stellar deals on cards. I can wait. |

I like the cut of your jib young man, I am also a student of patience. |

I’m also excited to see how the tone and message changes here on the boards with those that sold the hype over the last 18 months. |

Either way, when money is out of the picture, will be nice to have more hobby discussion, see more pickups, see more sets built, etc. |

I started back in 2017, so I was in early enough to get a taste of what “it used to be” but right on the edge when it started to ratchet up and then explode. I’m just excited to (hopefully) rip some hobby wax and not have to single hunt to enjoy again. I remember getting chided for a breaker in 2018 for saying that $900 for a box of NFL NT with sticker autos was a bad buy. Guess I should have just bought and held. |

I almost jumped back in on buying cards, but the stuff I've been watching just keeps dropping. But yeah, if you were a hobbyist back in 2017 you definitely some semblance of normalcy before the introductory spats of poo started hitting the fan followed by the diarrhea express let loose. |
