🔥🔥The Official 2022 NBA Finals Thread: Golden State Warriors VS Boston Celtics🔥🔥
LETSGOOOOOOOOO :flex:
Superb star power all around! :D |
It'll be an exciting series!!
|
Hoping for an injury-free series. Nothing worse than the finals being ruined by stars missing games.

Agreed. Lets go Boston! |
GS in 5, Boston got a easy run to the finals and still had to go 7 in two series. Brooklyn was the Simmons saga, Bucks missing Middleton, Heat with a limited Herro and hobbled Butler. GS is healthy, don’t be shocked if GS unleashes Kuminga on them to slash to set up the splash brothers.
|
Think it’s going to be a tough and good series. Warriors in 6

-150 should be free money then... |
Steph gonna torch these fools.
|
Warriors in 5 for the following reasons:
- Warriors have home court advantage - Warriors are better rested - Warriors have a deeper bench - Warriors are just as good defensively as the Celtics (the teams were 1st/2nd defensively in the regular season) - The Warriors have more offensive weapons - The Celtics are too inconsistent The Heat played the Celtics even over the last two games, and Miami's offense is/was atrocious compared to the Warriors. And the Celtics are going to be exhausted....Tatum has played 200 more minutes that Curry has in the playoffs....Brown has played 200 more minutes than Green has....you get the picture.... |
I need to make some big sales this week so I can light a couple grand on fire going to one of these games...
|
Yuck on both of those teams being in the Finals!
That being said, the Celtics are the lesser of two evils soooo... Go Celts! |
I believe that I was talking about the Celts way before they went this far. They did it their way.
|
If Golden State wins, Curry, Draymond, Klay & Andre will tie Lebron with 4 rings.
|
With Golden State having home-court Boston's clearest path to victory would be to win all 3 of their home games and steal 1 on the road. The only problem is the Warriors are 9-0 at home in the playoffs and have won at least 1 road game in 26 straight playoff series. When you consider that GS also has a 3 days rest + preparation advantage I think it's very very hard to pick against them.
|
I don't know the stats, but I believe Boston has a better record on the road than at home since Jan 1.
|
Steve Kerr will figure a way to win this one.

Sorry but both sides have been hobbled...Rob Will just off surgery, Smart with both ankles blown up and everyone else banged up! |
I hope Steph has an MVP performance to solidify his legacy once and for all. I see him struggling to get to the rim as easily as he has because Boston has good interior defense. I think Tatum will get locked down. He will score a lot but with 9-26 type shooting performances.
GSW in 6 |
Easy run to the finals what kind of drugs are you on? They had the toughest 1st round matchup of anyone in the playoffs vs the Nets with KD and Kyrie. Then went on to beat the defending Champs in 7. Then the #1 seed in 7.
GS played DEN with Jokic and no one. Then played MEM which was a good team but no playoff experience and their best player out for a 3 games. Then DAL with Luka and no one. They had a cakewalk compared to Boston. |

Bucks without their number 2 player (Middleton) Heat with a bunch of injury issues, various players missing games including Butler, Herro, etc Still impressive to get to the Finals but they had some help along the way. |
I think it has potential to be a great series, looking forward to it. Wouldn’t be surprised if it goes 7 but I’ll say warriors in 6.
|
Kyrie played all 4 games in the series it doesn't matter that he didn't play a lot of games in the regular season that's irrelevant. KD is also one of the best players in the League.
Bucks still had Jrue he's better than either DEN or DAL 2nd best player the Warriors faced. And they also had Giannis the best player in the NBA. Then they beat the #1 seed MIA. It's still tougher compared to the strength of teams GS has played. KD and Kyrie and Giannis and Jrue are a better combo than any teams the Warriors had to play. Until the finals, now they'll face a real complete team. Should be a good series. |
I don't understand the level of disrespect against the Mavs. They beat a fully healthy Suns team in 7. Sure, they weren't close to the team they were in the regular season, but still a championship contender.
Dubs beat the team that eliminated the championship favorite in 5 games. They didn't have it easy, it was just a much better matchup. |
That's right Dallas beat the #1 team in the league not GS. DAL helped them out. They overachieved but they are not ready to contend for a championship yet. They're lacking the firepower of teams like GS and BOS or MIL or MIA or any other team that has 2 or 3 really good players. Dinwiddie and Brunson are decent but they're not on that level. Boston took out everyone in the East with multiple all-stars on each team they faced even if they were lacking their 3rd. Although MIA did have 3.

Charles Barkley was so right.
