Best/worst possible NBA Finals matchup for card industry in general?
Worst is easy: Miami v Phoenix. No national buzz around anyone on either team, only long term CP3 holders stand to gain much.
Best is harder imo. Some combo of Mil/Bos v Dal/GS |

Warriors versus Boston or Milwaukee for sure as the best.

Ya gonna be too tough to hang with the Warriors in a 7 game series. Teams may have a shot through 3 games but 7 is just too long. This core Klay, Draymond, Curry and Poole stay together with little injuries and it's gonna be crazy for the rest of the league these next couple to few years. |

It'll happen. We believe. |
I would love to see a MIA vs PHX finals. I'd love to see CP3 win one but wouldn't be mad to see Butler get one either. Does anyone really want to see GS make it?
|
Memphis getting out of the west would be big (if not impossible). It’s not just Ja but that team has a lot of young guys.
But then again considering Bane already is priced like he’s gonna be a HOFer, maybe not too much upside. |

Best for the card industry
Dallas vs. Milwaukee Giannis and Luka are being hyped as the future of the NBA. Worst Miami vs Golden State |
For the card industry?
Best is either Mavs/Bucks or Griz/Bucks in my opinion. Lots of new money would be "vindicated" Worst is definitely Suns/Heat |

How could anyone not like Golden State? They put a team together like it should be done. They come together like it should be done. The players mostly act great like it should be done. They win like it should be done. Golden State is the definition of true basketball greatness. They are everything to like and more. Greatness should be encouraged and not shoved aside. So its obvious that last statement makes absolutely no sense. |

Curry is the biggest jerk in the NBA and Dre isn't far behind. The team is just old. Do things the right way? Lol. Like tamper with KD and Giannis to join up with them? Butler is on his 4th team, winning won't move his cards much. The other team's have young stars that will move the hobby by winning. Phoenix - Booker Memphis - Ja Boston - Tatum Philly - Embiid The question is what is best for the hobby, not your investments. |

If you forget about the Durant years sure. But if you think they didn't tarnish their legacy a little by adding an all time great to their roster I would disagree with you. |

I'm going to say Mavericks and Boston would be sick .. at least personally.
Mavericks and Bucks would be great too. I personally would probably hate to see Phx and Miami - just feel it would be bad for the hobby and not really all that fun to watch. |

That already happened. Thats history. Move on pal. |
Boston vs GS would be good for sports/cards and market. It would be exciting and fun to watch
Bucks and Dallas are bad choices. Small markets with single star that gets a boost. So what if Luka nd Giannis get a boost. Its only 2 players and nothing for the city and size of population. GS and Boston have multiplayer player boost and both cities have legacies of winning |

You must have missed my first post where I said Luka was the best scenario for the hobby out of the west. |

If the question is what is best for the NBA, then Boston, NY/NJ, Chicago, LA and GS are your best choices. For the hobby, an old team is not going to move the markets. |

Move on pal.[/QUOTE] Never! In all seriousness though if someone is going to refer to a team as the epitome of basketball greatness they need to be reminded of such history. |

The hobby only cares about prospecting at the moment. It needs someone to prospec that has not risen exponentially in value like Giannis and Luka. What did Giannis and MIL winning a chip do for the hobby and Giannis cards in general? Nothing much since they won. If you want to ride the wave of prospecting and potential for the hobby, you need player to shine that have not already blown up in prices and hobby love. |
Seems like a lot of people won't like Phoenix vs Miami...
|
Warriors vs Bucks
