Just got this back from PSA. Disappointed in the grade. What do you all think?

I think it's the only one graded by PSA and still gonna fetch a pretty penny. Great card; great set.

Congrats on that! While an 8 might not thrill you, its still a massive card.

Buy the card in this case... its gold and the inaugural release of whats become flasgship in the industry.

Dont worry about the grade.

Did you wipe it down before sending? Looks like a tiny smudge on the top white flag stripe that could possibly come off, and smaller one on the back to the right of block text.

Absolutely beautiful card. The USA Golds from first your prizm are off the charts. Super underrated.

I wonder if the centering factored into the grade too? Though we know PSA is quite lenient on centering when it comes to grading.

There's just no way to know without seeing the card raw what might have taken the grade down. Amazing card.

is that a dimple on the bottom part of the blue on the flag?

Centering certainly took it down a grade, also maybe a slight touch on that lower right corner on front?

centering is way off, definitely did this card in grade wise.

Is this the same Durant USA gold that was sniped at 1500 best offer like 6 months ago? If so, congrats. I was about 3 minutes too late.

1. OMG gold durant went for 1500!??!

2. looks like a 9 to me. PSA is so tough with these now - also lights of room on these for micro surface scratches.

i actually have 3 2012 prizm golds with them now and a little scared

Not sure if it was this exact card but yes a 2012 USA Durant gold went for 1500.

Seller obviously didn’t know what he had. It was listed at $500 auction with best offer option. It sold for $1500 before I could even shoot an offer.

The centering combined with the dinged corner kills any chance at a 9. Who knows how the surface is.

PSA recently posted a bunch of 2012 golds they graded. I saw a good number of 10s.;)

i pulled one of the durant prizm golds brillance i think, from paninis NBA Finals promo YEARS ago, when they were trying to get rid of stock. I just really wanted the promo packs they were giving out as those things were loaded with low number autos with a great checklist. I sold it for under 100 back then...
