Looking For Info on 2022 Topps Transcendent VIP Party
I recently won an invite to the 2022 Topps Transcendent VIP Party. I should get the invite in the mail in the next day or two, but it looks like the last day to RSVP is March 3 so I'm really hoping to get some details before I do that.
I don't want to open the invite unless I know that I will be able to attend, because if that's the case then I will be selling and shipping to someone who can. Topps has told me in order for them to give me further information, I need to open the invite and RSVP using the code inside... so I'm really hoping someone can help me out with a few basic details! Has anyone else on here already done the RSVP that can tell me the dates and location of this year's event? If so please Private Message me, it would be greatly appreciated! |
congrats on the free cash!
i have not heard any info on it |
I've RSVP'd; beyond asking for my contact info and the serial number from the hologram sticker, Topps haven't been in touch to share any details on date/location yet.
I'll see if I can shake some info out of someone in person at the Bowman Transcendent party this Friday... |

Unfortunately I don't know what's "usual" in that respect; these are the first two I'll have gone to.
For whatever it's worth (possibly nothing), the Bowman RSVP deadline this year was January 7. We got an email on January 20 announcing the date/location (this Friday, Phoenix). So just over a month's notice. Of course they still haven't announced who the guest(s) of honor will be... |
I had a ticket to a separate event, so take this all with a grain of salt
RSVP date was 10/1/2021 for an event scheduled "sometime in November in Las Vegas" I RSVP'd early September. About 2 weeks later I was contacted to verify the hologram code and other information. Crickets for the entire month of October I was told early-November that the event was postponed until spring 2022. I was contacted in late December to tell me that the event was in New York City sometime in February. In mid-January I was told the date was 2/5/2022 and given a location. I was not told about the hotel until about 10 days before the trip. It was an eye opening experience to deal with events@topps.com |
Wow, that seems really rushed... too bad they couldn't plan this kind of thing out a little better. I just hope I don't use the RSVP and then when I finally learn the date I find out that I can't attend. Not sure what happens then.

This is definitely making me nervous. I usually need a little advanced notice in order to get the time off... not to mention good luck on getting a good deal on airline tickets only 2-3 weeks out from the event. |

For what it's worth, in the FAQs they sent us, they indicated that they'll try to be flexible in those sorts of situations, either by working with you to transfer the ticket to someone else post-RSVP (though they did say they'd need 30 days advance notice for that... which would have been tight, at least for this week's event) or, worst case, by shipping you any swag you would have received at the event if you weren't able to attend or transfer the ticket. |

Ok well that's good to know at least... last question! Do they allow you to being a spouse or a plus one? |
Not for Bowman, at least. I'd assume not for Topps either.

I think the VIP party provides entertainment. Not positive, though. |

No, for Transcendent events it is one ticket for one person. If wanted a plus one, need to buy an extra invitation. |
If you cannot attend you can transfer the ticket. I attended the Harper event because a person on blowout could not attend and we worked out a deal and he emailed Topps and transferred the ticket over to me. Had zero issues attending the event.

That’s great to hear. Thanks for letting me know! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Sorry to report that I have no news re: the Topps party; apparently they are genuinely still working on getting it scheduled.

Soto confirmed?

Not in the email, but that's what the invite said, so fingers crossed.
