MLB lookout, anybody graphing minor league camps?
 

With the mlb lockout (40 roster), anyone autographing the minor league player/prospects? Anyone been out and had success yet?

I doubt they are in camp yet. Maybe some MLB invite non roster guys will be at camp this week, but minor league camp doesn't open for another couple of weeks.

Peoria sports complex looks to be active right now, as the stadium lights are on whenever I am on that side of the valley

It's most likely concessions people getting ready. It might also be Men's League or something. I swear I've played games on those fields. I was at Sloan Park today and there wasn't a player or coach in sight.

I have been hanging around the Royals site and they have been active since the start of February. I have seen a few guys stop and sign cards as they come out to the parking lot. Ive been there to get Witt Jr. and he finally showed up on Monday of this week. I had a bat with me for the man cave but he declined to sign that. I heard he's been declining and singing balls on the panel and not on the sweet spot. Ill be going to more places as the next few weeks Reds/Guardians and Dodgers/White Sox. Might hit up Peoria as well. Got to get these guys pretty early in their careers if you want to get the good stuff.

My crazy redneck neighbor once stormed the Memphis stadium several hours before 1st pitch (I think they were the Cardinals AA or AAA) and he demanded autographs. He was escorted off the premises. Be careful

A lot of players sign exclusive contracts that don’t let them sign on the sweet spot of balls for fans at games. Estevan Florial had a similar situation going on. He was really nice about it, and let me fish around for a card for him to sign instead, and later he perfectly signed under the patch logo of a Futures Game ball. It doesn’t bother me. When you’re asking for free sigs, you take what you can get.

If anyone sees any Cleveland MiLB...my paypal is all yours for some signed cards. Some of that these new draftees have been tough TTM. So i am hppy to pay!

Oh I hear you. If I came across as being mad about the Witt autograph I was not trust me. He doesn't owe me anything. I was just hoping to get a bat for the Room to show off. I really like getting my auto's in person just because you can always tell that story. Witt actually tried to say he was sorry but I told him no he doesn't have to apologize at all I totally understood if he didn't want to sign. Im good with it.

If i remember correctly that's why getting into seeing practices in the past was difficult later on.

Will backfields be open next month like in pre-pandemic days when you could watch the MILB ST games?

I am hoping so, non roster players and minor league players.
The question is will mlb allow fans/graphers access or will we to be locked out

Was at yankee minor league camp last two days. If you can identify the prospect, most will come over and happy to sign. Good luck getting jason dominguez and anthony vope to stop.

Can we merge the autograph beggars with the ttm forum please?

Just saw in another group that the Tigers have posted No Autograph signs throughout the stadium. In addition prohibited items now include baseballs, bats, baseball cards, autograph books, etc.

Has anyone been to red sox camp? Any access?

I'll try to get zac veen and drew romo's auto this season.

The only Florida camp I have seen success at is Jupiter and Ft Myers. Phillies is open but if you ask for autographs you will get kicked out

I'm looking forward to the summer and catching some Tri-City Dust Devils games! I believe MLB will be up and running then, but that won't stop me.

Pretty cool. Went to the grocery store couple miles from the house and noticed some nice vehicles near the high school ball field and saw some guys practicing there. On my way back I stopped and checked it out. Wouldn't you know some Royals and Indians and I don't know who else were taking BP. Did see Benentendi and Pratto but didn't recognize anyone else. I know I know cool story bro.
