Big issue with Chronicles FOTL
Wanted to give folks a heads up. I purchased a case and are through the first 9 boxes. All AUTOs (27 or so) are retail names (No 1st rounders) and only consists from the Score, Donruss Paper, Origins subsets. It may be that Panini didn't have time to insert AUTOs from other subsets.
Again this is my experience and a warning for all. I'm going to reach out to a Panini contact on my end to see what can be done |

Or at least this was my experience with literally all chronicles products |

was there any specification as to which autos are included in these boxes. plus it seems you have not opened all of the boxes, so how do you know what you are hoping for is not in one of those? |

I get what you mean, the bigger hits are the silhouette and select types. Glad I didn't order then wanted to get in at floor and remembered it at like 12:15

You have my attention and now I’m worried. A FOTL case that’s better than regular hobby should not be guaranteed by any means but it absolutely should be AT LEAST on par plus have the FOTL exclusives. |
How’s the collation for the various subsets? Hope you’re getting some variety. Are any of the subsets exclusive to retail? God I hope not since it’s a draft picks set but I would like to know.

Weird when someone is trying to give a heads up on a product maybe not being so great, and everyone jumps the guy to stick up for Topps and Panini.....always have found that odd.

Not every box or case is going to be great is the point, you hit a Topps Triple Threads with two logomans, but I hit two scrub autos. Which is the norm? More likely mine than yours. |

I agree, nothing personal. But I dont think its normal to receive a bunch of 'score' autos out of a case of Chronicles. There should be variation, in that and including of some higher end subsets. |
Looking at the checklist it appears that there are 7 different auto "brands" in this.
Score Origins Mosaic Donruss Rated Rookie Flux Limited One My assumption being the Limited/One autos are going to be tough to pull based on the checklist and the short printed numbering for those autos |

Did not take it personal. Went back and looked at some cases we busted last year of this stuff and we got one first rounder out of our first 5 cases and three cases were no numbered autos and no autos above the basic chronicles one. It is actually pretty standard and normal, to have cases like this across all products. Heck Bowman Draft Baseball and 16 cases until we hit a current year first round Auto this year. |

I have seen individual boxes, of Chronicles yield multiple first rounder's and multiple numbered autos so I cant consider that normal either. Just my 2 cents. Out of a 60 box run of TL Topps football I got 8 autos. Everyone act's like thats normal.....until it happens to them. Its a gamble sure, but there are guidelines for the gamble that should come out in the wash. |

We did get them from 3 different sources before anyone asks. Thing is as ya know there are few guidelines what to expect from cases anymore, which we have a problem with across the board. |

I think just under half with 1st rounders. I open about 15 cases of draft a year. It would be statistical anomaly to open Jumbo, or SJ cases and not pull a single first round auto in 16 cases. (32 autos per case x 16= 512 autos.....would be just about the same as calling heads on 512 coin tosses and hitting every one) Potentially better chances of winning the mega millions. Not saying it didnt happen, because it may well could of and thats not the point. But it proves the point, we should expect better. |
Apparently Mosaic Draft autos were originally signed to be inserted in Chronicles Draft but were shifted to a standalone product after the fact, which could have potentially left them short autos to fill both Chronicles Hobby and FOTL print runs.

I don't think they were slated for this. It's just for the checklist. It was the same way with Obsidian draft last year... the checklist for that was included under the Chronicles brand. Just a standalone product. Unsure why they have them lumped together but I doubt there was ever any intention to have Mosaic as part of this Chronicles release. |

Still seems odd they ended up putting Chronicles Draft on the Mosaic redemptions. |

Outlier would be the whole case is just Unity and Phenoms subsets. But panini labeling mosaic as chronicles and running printing presses 24/7 could be pulling One into it's own college product too |
