Jordan Auto Star Card - New Pickup
 

Picked this up recently. I know it's a risk buying unauthenticated autos (esp of Jordan), but was willing to take it at the price I paid. Also, I absolutely love these Star 5x7s and I believed the seller's story about how it was obtained. Anyone have any thoughts on how this should be authenticated? I'm thinking BGS. Of course, if anyone has opinions about authenticity, I would love to hear. Thanks!

Card looks good too,I’d grade both card & auto if it passes authentication. Good luck,it’s definitely a sweet combo if all goes well.

I saw your post on FB too. Here are the Star 5x7 MJ’s I got signed way back. I got All of them done 86-88 in person, so it’s vintage era style.

I am not sure on your card, but he definitely changed sig styles over the years. I would assume based on turnaround time alone you’ll go with BGS-JSA?

Yoooo these are incredible!!! Yes, planning to go with BGS. Do you have any thoughts on that?

Thanks. I managed to get all 50 court kings, the 5x7 slam dunk set and all of the team supers autographed. Took a few years for sure!

I think BGS is the way to go. A year ago I may thought it didn’t matter if was PSA-DNA or BGS. However now the base card value itself has gone up dramatically , so authenticating that has become more important. So BGS to cover both card and signature authentication.

Just Stockton rookie Star signed. I did my raw 101’s of course you just have to. Not sure if I will ever sell but if National comes around again I might get these done.
