2020-21 Revolution
Saw that some images were up....
https://www.paniniamerica.net/blog/the-panini-america-quality-control-gallery-2020-21-revolution-basketball-50-images/ Looks like they are mostly sticker autos this year - really jarring in a space that is clearly meant to be on card to stick the rectangular sticker. I know the autos are not as big a draw as some of the parallels but this hurts I assume its just pandemic related and crossed fingers for on card to come back next year. The strange thing is the Shaq looks like its on card at least |
Revolution with sticker autos is a massive disappointment
|
Price finally posted, $345 direct. I think there's potential with these again, nice looking cards. Could be a fun rip.

Cards have started to hit eBay. Lamelo Ball Revolution
|
I always considered Revolution to be the basketball card equivalent of Battling Seizure Robots.
I will admit though, it has grown on me. |

For Revolution, they have always had nice on card autos, so I think the sticker thing for this year is kind of a big deal. Hopefully it is a COVID related one year blip. I am sure the boxes will sell regardless, because, it's basketball and any basketball wax these days seem to move. |
Anyone buying? There will be many horrific break at $345 a box. Plus sticker autos

I love Revolution..but $345 (plus Tax) for a box is nuts..I'm sure it will still sell out ASAP considering what BO and the others have it for |

I'd take a box of 18-19 or 19-20 for $345. |
Hell no at 345 box.......take that 345 and buy yourself a nice single or two
|
Love love love me some Revolution. Wasn't going to be buying wax at this price anyways, but this is the first year I am even having a hard time finding singles I want to go after. Base design is not my favorite, and the sticker autos look terrible compared to the on-cards from past years. If they were going to do sticker, they should've at least upped them to 1 per box.

No chance to get one - was trying 1000 times....

Got to checkout, but get “some of the products in your cart are unavailable“ when placing order. [emoji2371] guess it wasn’t meant to be.
|
Remember when BO would have other years on their Black Friday sale for like $500-$1K a case? I think he Chinese cases were extremely cheap.
I miss having affordable wax to open |
Sold out quick. Panini needs to up their prices apparently. They leaving money on the table. Anyways, whoever is opening these at these prices are most likely getting killed lol
|
Funny how many people post their cards on ebay as Galactics when theyre not, I noticed the first Lamelo rookie revolution "galactic" just popped up $2k OBO... how much do you think the first real Lamelo base galactic will go for?

|
The cards are specifically designed for on-card autos which just makes it worse.

whatever it costs, their other products cant cost much more and we've seen other boxes at $1k so they're literally printing money.. |
I'm might grab some singles for the PC this year. I've never really bought Revolution before - where do the parallels rank in terms of prestige?

1. Galactic 2. Lava 3. Cubic 4.Cosmic 5. Sunburst 6. Impact 7. Fractal (might jump ahead of impact now that it’s in the insert sets. Which used to use impact in previous releases) 8. Groove 9. Astro |
1. Galactic

Astro
The order of scarcity/prestige is correct. Impact will always be ahead of Fractal though. It’s serial numbered out of /149 since 19-20 and the print run is hypothesized to be similar across all years. Fractal is desirable, but slightly more common and not numbered.
