The #Texans are releasing star JJ Watt, source said. |
Hopefully he lands with a contender. Houston needs to completely blow up their roster and start from scratch

Houston's front office is killing it! :flex::)!;)
|
Come home JJ... there's no place like home!
|
He's headed to Pittsburgh....book it.
|
This is the Texan the Dolphins should be pursuing.
|
Packers
|
Can he play offensive line????? If so come to KC
|
He will go to Tampa after Shaq Barrett cashes in.

Just like the Texans to get nothing for him

He isn't going to Pittsburgh. JJ wants to win a title more than playing with his brother. Pittsburgh is a complete mess. |

As soon as I read the title of the thread I thought this.... Tom Brady should just be hired as gm at this point LOL |

They really are a poorly run team. No way Watson plays for them this year at this point. |
Where did Clay Matthews go after he left GB? I don’t remember him doing much....same trajectory for JJ.
|
Brady will probably have the Bucs snag him.
|
Would be cool. A chance to finally get a ring before he retires.

Eh, not a fan of this comp. Different position. One if a future Hall of Famer, 2x Defensive player of the year w 101 career sacks. And the other guy is Clay Matthews who has definitely had a stellar career. But not the same really. JJ Watt will be a force on the edge as a contributor for at least 2 more seasons. Maybe the best days are behind him, but I see him ending his career much like Chris Long did. |

No. Nope. Definitely not. |

Its sad to say but I think the same thing. He hasn't done much of anything it seems the last few years (on the field) other than make a lot of money to be injured all the time. 4 bad injury riddled seasons with one great one mixed in. If he is still looking to get paid a high amount of money. No thanks. If he wants to come to a contender and take a decent pay cut I'd be fine with it. Or maybe a performance incentive based contract. |

What could of been for him in his career. Too many injuries just destroyed his career. Still a great career but could of been so much more. I wouldn’t want him wasting cap space so hopefully he takes a team friendly deal if he’s chasing a ring. Doubt he cares much about money.

Browns could use him

There was some chatter around this. Would be a great fit! |
If there was ever a guy that worked 100% and had the character a team would want On/Off the field, it’s JJ Watt. Love the guy and all he has done for his community.
If KC could use him I’d love to have him if he’s available for cheap. Would he go back to Wisconsin and play for GB? The Rams will be looking at him for sure. This off-season will be really interesting. Some guys I never thought would play for another team seem to be going that way via trade or free agency. Watt, Watson, Wentz, Wilson... |
