Good stuff Gary says and does some dumb #@#@#@#@ but overall I feel he’s net positive for the hobby. As are you mike!

The more I listen to Gary V, the more I am thinking he is a collector. The guy is buying the truly great cards and things that he wants. Vegas Dave buys Derek Carr cards, makes a video, and starts dumping a week later. Gary V just buys like most of us do, he buys for the nostalgia and what he wants.

Gary has a lot of influence. But I agree with pretty much everything he says.

Vegas Dave is not worth mine or anyone's time..

I believe GaryV is legit into the hobby, seems to have real and true passion for it. He preaches research, seems transparent and talks about the risks as well.

Stoiclife 02-12-2021 12:15 AM

Great conversation. Gary V seems like a stand up guy who is genuinely interested in the hobby. I'm always on the lookout for hobby content so I'll be sure to check out more of your content.

Anyone heard anything sportscards related from out lord and savior Gary Vee? Dropped out of the National and seems to have ghosted the card world.

Heard he had a personal matter to tend to and that's why he missed the national.
Don't know why he's ghosted the card world since then.

Last I heard, he was selling 1st graders drawings as NFTs to his followers.

*That sell for $35,000 dollars

But he is going to work super duper hard to make sure they hold their value for the long run.

I mean they've obviously gone nuclear. He must be doing something right.

Flexing good samaritan vibez by leaving all the PSA10 Jordans (he promised to purchase en masse) for his faithful cucks.

Salt of the hashtag earth.

dunkindutchmen 09-14-2021 07:23 PM

Let's get him back on the show to do his thang. I could use a good pumping.

Wait, what?

Hoopscardz83 09-14-2021 07:27 PM

This post should have been the Gary Vee suck off post. I don't care what billionaires think or do. They care about the $$, and could careless about anyone else. They do everything for themselves.

Since when did he become a billionaire?

Yeah he has really been ghosting the hobby… kinda weird after all of the endless excitement he had for the hobby over the last 2-3 years. The nft stuff is so whack. I don’t care how much money it brings. Honestly have never seen anything dumber.

Same thing. A dude who's rich as #@#@#@#@. Who brought in the shoe community that has hurt many of us.

cowboyzqna 09-14-2021 08:49 PM

I found him annoying. I think that 85 percent of people reading this would have been just as successful as he is if they where givin a few million dollar headstart.

I have people on the team that went from dirt floor poor to running companies... that I respect. And I never hear them brag about their work ethic. It just speaks for itself.

Can't knock the hustle. Don't have to respect it.

AbraCalabro 09-14-2021 08:59 PM

Any day that super-punchable face leaves sports cards is a good day. Good riddance.

Haha very true. It's all part of the brand/marketing schtick he is trying to sell. I don't mind someone having a headstart, just don't tell sell me a bs fantasy tale where you are painting yourself as some mighty self-made heroic figure. Maybe it's not quite that exaggerated but often implied in the way he markets himself. GaryV has a eat/pray/love schtick marketed and packaged for younger bro types, there are worse influencers out there imo but over time I've found him more and more grating.
