2021 NFL Draft
Who are you hoping for? I'd love to see the Falcons trade down and take Trey Lance and hopefully pick up an extra 2nd and 3rd.
|
I'd like to see New England get Kyle Pitts or a quarterback, but don't reach.

Mocks are all over the place, especially this early. But I saw one with 4 QBs taken in the top 5 picks, including Lance to the Lions who traded up to 5. |
I know, it's insane. Some have seen all of the QB's fly off the board in the top 4, some I've seen Fields fall to 6 or 7. Lawrence is definitely going 1st, Wilson has gotten hype as the 2nd overall pick and has fallen to #4 to the Falcons. No-one has any idea of the QB class outside of Lawrence.
|
Miami needs to address offense in a big way. Ideally, Id like to see them trade down from 3 to 6-9 and grab Chase or Smith.
|
I'd think the Slim Reaper is definitely heading to Miami.
|
At 11 the Giants need to grab 1 of the top-2 corners (Farley, Surtain) or 1 of the 3 top WRs (Waddle, Chase, Smith). Edge possible but I'm really hoping 1 of those 5 guys is the pick
|
at 32 the Packers will probably trade out of 1st round. :D
|
Any WR for the Giants and Najee Harris and a tight end in rd 2 and 3

I’d love to see the Cowboys take OT Slater at 10. If not him, one of the two top corners. If a team is interested in a QB in that slot, trading down for more picks would be great too.

Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk[/QUOTE] Why on earth would the Giants draft Najee Harris in Round 2? Saquon??? We have significant needs at Edge, CB, MLB, possibly IDL if we lose Leo and Dalvin. Could use TE, WR help of course too. I'd say RB is very very low on our list of needs |
He is going to round 3. I want the te out of Boston rd 2. The Giants need a second back who can pound the defense like we did with Jacob's. Harris is also insurance if you can not bring back Saquon you have a back in the system and there is no guarantee Gillman stays when he can sign with teams to be a starter. The cheapest option is Harris

I saw a mock that had the Steelers taking Najee at 28, assuming that's where they land. I would be very disappointed if they take anyone other than an Olineman.
|
Defense. I don't care who. Best Defensive player on the board. Whatever position that is. Doesn't matter.

With 4 games missing and a horrible o line for a good portion of the season. He could be a solid starter or 2 with a good line.

I think pretty much the only locks so far are Lawrence at 1 and Bengals taking an OL.
|
I'd like to see the Dolphins take Sewell at 3 unless for some reason the Jets Jet and don't take a QB at 2. Trade down and reap the riches. Take a receiver with their original pick, OL with the Texans 2 and RB with their 2.
|
I'd like to see Washington work out a trade with Detroit for Stafford, and then draft OL/LB/WR

Assuming Big Al is gone and probably Feiler. That leaves Banner, Chulks, Pouncey, Decastro and Dotson. C and LT are needs as I’m not sure Chuks can cut it and Pouncey is about done. S which do you Dak as the bigger need? Do you try and Keep Feiler and put him at RT (where he played better than Giard anyway) and possibly move Banner to LT? |

Pouncey will hang them up after next year when Ben goes. So they are stuck with him for another year (hate saying it like that as he's been an all-time great C for Pitt). Assuming Al is gone, that would leave Pouncey, Decastro, Dotson, and Banner as starters. FA or Chucks (god help us) for the other spot to start the season and then supplement them with a few draft picks. Get a year of backup work in then start replacing the Banners, Chucks, and Pouncey's in '22, or mid-season if they turn out anything like Dotson did. Whatever they do, they need to start building the line for a QB that will actually play under center and one that has an ability to run block. I don't know the answers to who stays and who doesn't, but this line to me is the biggest issue with the team and needs to be addressed in a significant fashion with this draft. |
Chris Olave to Green Bay is my dream pick that probably won't happen. His skill set reminds me a lot of Davante Adams.
Really curious what happens with Shaun Wade; he went from a sure-fire first rounder to probably a day two pick. A lack of reps on the outside combined with new technique caused him to struggle, but he can be an impact slot corner from the jump with potential to be above average on the outside at the NFL level. |
I'm hoping that the Falcons take Shaun Wade or Andre Cisco in the 2nd round.
|
Whatever the Lions do will prove to have been dumb, bad, or catastrophic. Few franchises have wasted as much draft capital as Detroit. No reason to expect that to change.
