Need an appraisal for Paypal dispute

This is the card in question. Was rec'd with crease down the middle. This was the message from Paypal: we are requesting additional documentation needed to continue with this case. You need to get a document (such as an estimate or invoice) from an unbiased third-party, such as a dealer, repair shop, appraiser, or another individual or organization that is qualified in the area of the item in question (other than you). If anyone has suggestions on how to proceed let me know. |
there was a thread on here recently about this (not this card) but this situation. may want to search a bit and find that thread and reach out to the person who started it.

Go to your nearest card shop and ask invoice if the owner is your friend.
or purchase a new pack and ask invoice but put details 2007 sp authentic. put date last month purchase. and then tell paypal that you pull this from a pack, date purchase you put in the invoice and upload a copy of invoice. |

I have done this twice already and it went thru. I dont think paypal will search where did you get this item. all they want is a proof that you own the card. and after 3 days my paypal is ok already |
I've never been in this situation, but wouldn't the completed auction act as an appraisal? I mean that's full, real market price of the actual item (in theory)

:coffee: |
Why was this filed through Paypal and not Ebay? Are you the buyer or seller OP?
Its a clear not as described not sure why Paypal would even want that. |

Just send it back for a full and complete refund since ebay always sides with the buyer. Pretty simple....:)! |
Ebay already closed the case that I opened.
I am sure it had something to do with the fact it was 4 weeks since the card was delivered to my shipmycards mailbox, and then just a few days since I actually got it in hand. The seller must have convinced Ebay to side with him due to the time period. |

HOWEVER once the card was reshipped to you technically the seller was off the hook for the card. That is why Ebay closed the case in the sellers favor. Ebay will end up covering this one or Paypal will deny it and I am shocked your neg has been allowed to remain. If the seller complains to Ebay it will be removed. That is the risk a buyer faces for using a reshipper once the item gets to the address and is reshipped the seller is no longer responsible. Paypal may do the same thing. |
When the card gets reshipped I don't think you can win a case like that on eBay cause you don't really know where it got damaged.

This. You cannot prove where the damage occurred if the receiver did not note any damage then its on them when they reship not the original seller. |

https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy?id=4210 Not covered The item was sent to another address after the original delivery, or buyer uses a freight forwarder (exceptions which are still eligible for coverage include: eBay shipping programs such as the Global Shipping Program and eBay international standard delivery, and eBay authentication programs) |
why cant you just return it and get your money back?
the original listing pics did not show any crease |
why cant you just return it and get your money back?
the original listing pics did not show any crease
Because it was reshipped and Ebay does not cover that. Paypal likely will not either. If the reshipper did not note any damages then they are the ones who agree its ok and sent it on. |
