Panini's Biggest Fail!!!

I was bored and looking at some pics of past cards and 1 caught my eye!! Probably one of Panini's biggest fails ever so I figured I would share it!! This is a 12-13 Totally Certified HRX Kevin Durant Auto Video Card!! It was suppose to be numbered til /10 but KD didn't sign it that way and then the video was never made because of copyright issues or something!! Always got the run around from Panini and finally just took the card even though the video didn't work and got a couple other cards included in the deal!! I have never been so excited when I opened that 12-13 Totally Certified box (also got a Klay Thompson Gold Auto Rookie /15), who knew I was going to be so disappointed!! I think I got a couple of other nice cards out of the deal (which I wish I wouldn't of sold), just wish the video would of worked!! So this story turned from disappointment to regret of selling the Kobe on card auto and Giannis RC auto as well!! Oh well, it happens!! Anybody else get the HRX video cards that didn't work or any other Panini Fails!?!?!

Panini sent me a redemption once with no sticker auto/auto at all on it. Waited over a year for them to send me that. Then gave me #@#@#@#@ when I told them that wasn't going to fly. They eventually fixed it, though after many emails.

Ended up getting a crazy return on my Durant HRx Gold Auto 1/1

2015 Flawless Soccer case
Spectra Autographs of Kobe, Curry and Durant
the last 2012 NT RPA Kawhi Leonard/199 that I ended up getting a quad 9.5 grade on.

Are the width and height of those HRX the same as standard cards?

I pulled a regular Durant video card redemption. For a replacement, they sent me 6 Stephen Curry autographed cards and $25 in cash. I was not overly displeased.

Those HRX's were like the Deloreans of the card world.

Amazing futuristic concepts, terrible in real world application...and both designs most likely fueled by copious amounts of white marching powder.

Often, and without any repercussion whatsoever.
Such is the state of the industry...
Keep spending that money though.
We all do...

I agree!! They had some great inserts!! License to Dominate, Rock the Rim and the parallels of the base were nice!!

Oh. If they were standard size, I think they would be great conversation pieces in a PC regardless of wheher the video plays or not. Being bigger makes them similar to UD Supreme Hard Court.

It was a good conversation piece for a little bit but I want the video to work!! There is NO reason that they shouldn't of been able to get it to work. Wouldn't you make sure you can do it before and not have copyright issues after you have redemptions out there!?!?!

I get you. That's inexplicable on Panini's part. Very poor implementation, but I also still wish they would revisit the concept in the future when they can implement it properly.

I think the amount of photo repetition has gotta go on the Panini Fails list
