What rookies from the past 3 years are worth investing in?

Who's a sleeper pick that hasn't hit their prime yet? I mean, Giannis was the 15th pick. Mitchell was 12th. There's gotta be a few others that are going to pop off in the future.

I bought a bunch of John Collins from last year.

Pascal Siakam has been hot too.

That's it as far as guys who come to mind immediately.

RogerGodahell 03-15-2019 08:02 PM

None of them have hit their prime yet. Collins is my pick as well. Doesn't get much recognition.

oops, I meant "lived up to expectations" rather than "hit their prime."

Collins is the obvious pick here.

Besides him, maybe Kelly Oubre could be a sleeper. He's been really good since he got to Phoenix with some explosive performances.

steadned36 03-15-2019 08:20 PM

Yes John Collins. Derrick White, Spicy P or Montrezl

JMarchand1981 03-15-2019 08:22 PM

I would say not markelle fultz

NinjaJohnny 03-15-2019 08:22 PM

Lauri and Derrick White

Hard too guess under the radar “superstar” talent but will try perennial all stars or fringe all stars not mentioned prior:

- Domantas Sabonis
- Buddy Hield
- Jamal Murray
- jaren Jackson jr
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
- Michael Porter jr

RookieAddict 03-15-2019 09:15 PM

Shai G

isles4life 03-15-2019 09:17 PM

I have no clue who is still buying Porter Jr. at his current prices...he’s played 2 games in 2 years.

If you want to swing for the fences, Harry Giles gets overlooked a lot. He is the guy Tatum once said was the best prospect out of the 2017 draft before he got injured.

I have a feeling Fox is going to take it to an All-Star level next year. Ok, I'm hoping.

I'm on the fence about Collins. Seems like his ceiling is Lamarcus Aldridge-esque, especially with Young stealing a lot of the ATL hype.
none of them; wait for zion
This is the only right answer so far.

SHowley2003 03-15-2019 10:25 PM

I’m so glad everyone is sleeping on Jaylen Brown. Other than that I’m also in on Fox.

I love Collins but we all know how well centers & power forwards do in this hobby.

Yep this and then buy the other guys when everyone is going nuts over Shawn Kemp Jr

Why not? His prices are at all time lows. And he has the skills that made him a #1 pick. I’m pretty sure he’s not 21 yet either.

Collins reminds me of amare stoudamire. Athletic big with out of the gym hops. Rebounds well with suspect defense.

imbluestreak23 03-15-2019 10:43 PM

None of em dawg. They all blow

ninjacookies 03-15-2019 10:44 PM

1) Ayton
2) Trae
3) Pascal Siakam <criminally slept on.

I'm looking at guys with huge upside and possible top 5 at their position within the next few years.

Stat Monsters 03-15-2019 11:15 PM

I think the LA Lakers JOSH HART who was a RC last season 2017-18 because in all of the LeBron James trade rumors for Anthony Davis, it was Josh Hart who was hardly mentioned and he's shown glimpses of great potential as a player and supposedly indexes very high in maturity as a team player (like Derek Fisher) and could become a great 6th man like James Harden started out as, then earn a starting role, either in the LeBron rebuilt Lakers roster or if instantly given a starting role on another team is traded.

Junk market with next to no hobby love.

No signs pointing up on the guy.

If you feel differently, take a few grand and invest in him? He is a penny stock right now.
