Your favorite Bourbon
Hey Everyone,
I know there is a scotch thread, but wanted to know your go-to bourbon in this thread. Currently, I enjoy Four Roses....and I'm talking the standard yellow label. I've also had the single barrel version, but the basic "4R" is my favorite....and for under $20 I don't know that it can be beat. Will love to hear suggestions as well as your favorite.... |

Above plus woodford reserve double oak Plus blood oath pact 3 and basil hayden Best cheap bourbon Jim beam black 8 yr. Also try the Angels envy rye. |
I don't have one favorite I enjoy variety.
$ 4 Roses Single Barrell Elijah Craig $$ Noah Mills Bookers $$$$ Pappy 20 |
Yep, Elijah Craig is good, about to have some now :)

Pappy 10 or 12 is my go to. Blantons single barrel is also great (same distillery as Pappy). On a budget or daily drinking its Woodford.
Throw an once and a half of Woodford, Amaro, and Aperol in a shaker with juice from a half a lemon and you’ve got a great Paper Plane. |

I can't find it here in AZ. Had no problem in NY. As for the Paper Plane I'm going to have to try that. Does the lemon knock down the sweetness of the Amaro & Aperol? 3/4 per or what's your ratio? |
For every day, Buffalo Trace. Something special, Blantons.
|
My favorite is Knob Creek. Second is Buffalo Trace. I'm only in the mood for whiskey in autumn & winter though.

Not a big bourbon fan but when I do buy some it's makers mark

Can’t be beat for $25. |
I am a huge bourbon guy...
Top Solid-Decent priced are: Woodford, Knob Creek, Templeton Rye (one of my favorites) Clyde Mays is also pretty tasty for the price Blantons is wonderful but for how much I drink Bourbon-it is dangerous to buy for that price |

And the original recipe is still bootlegged around Carroll. It's much better than the commercial stuff but it's hard to get |
