Where do these Iverson rookie sticker auto's come from?

I've been wondering this question for a few months:

Where do these Iverson psa/dna encased rookie sticker auto's come from???

I've noticed:
1) there is a multitude of autographed Iverson stickers,
2) stickers that are all the same - clear with no hologram,
3) all signed in blue pen,
4) all placed on 1996 college or rookie cards (fleer, fleer metal, press pass, topps, topps chrome, topps finest, topps stadium club, Upper Deck, etc..),
5) all slabbed by psa/dna with a blue label.

Seems they're from a product that released them, something possibly like Leaf Vault.

Yes, I know these were stickers autographed by Iverson sometime recently; definitely not pack pulled 1996 autos. The stickers were then placed onto the cards, sent to psa/dna, authenticated and slabbed.

Just wondering if it's a big company that purchased like 1000 stickers and placed them only on rookie cards, authenticated them, and then sold them somehow or what the deal is.

Not too important of a question, just curious is all! Thanks!

Strange, I'm totally anti-sticker auto to begin with, and then in this case these are stickers added in the after-market. Not my cup of tea - obviously someone trying to flip for a profit.

I've seen a lot of the same thing on Kevin Durant Topps rookies.

Didnt the KD ones come from a Leaf Basketball product? Maybe the AI ones did too?

Those were the practice stickers that didn't get used in a product. nobody got time to use practice stickers. there just practice stickers.

possibly form UD Retro from a few years ago, take them off of the AI in a Hoyas Uni for a Sixers Uni Custom... Possibly???? Maybe the seller had AI auto stickers at a card show signing?

SDcardguy24, I've seen them on Durant rookies too - feel like it's from the same product as the AI's.

I thought these were all created and slabbed for some of the Leaf Best of Basketball sets?

The Durant and Iversons sticker buybacks were created for Leaf Best of Basketball products

If im not wrong these came from card shows and they have special release authenticated sticker autos. Though they are legit but they aint crazy... nothing much.. just a base card with sticker auto on them...
