What's your favorite sandwich?
 

For me, it doesn't get any better than a BLT with mayo on toasted rye.

French Dip with provolone and horseradish sauce is the way to go.

While Chick-Fil-A is awesome, it doesn't count. I wanted to keep this fast food free. Just wanted to limit it to sandwiches that can be home made, or commonly found at most restaurants/sandwich places.

I'm sure it's called something different elsewhere, but that's what it's called around Boston. Fresh hot shaved roast beef on a buttered and grilled onion roll.

The Chef in our restaurant recently experimented with a Deep Fried Grilled Cheese. (Provolone Cheese and a Nine Grain Bread). It was glorious

My two favorite are
Reubens (but on grilled sourdough, not a rye fan)
Bacon, egg & cheese on an everything bagel.

The only answer to me is a Cuban sandwich.

Roast beef, Swiss, white sub roll, a little mayo.

I have one of these every Saturday with my daughter after her dance class because there is a sandwich shop next door to the dance studio. The owner just happens to share mutual interests with me so I will go in, chat him up, chat my kid up and enjoy a good sando.

A Reuben.

Or a nice MLT – mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe.

A toasted tuna sandwich is usually my go-to.

But I had to vote Philly Cheesesteak. A good cheesesteak, done right, is life-changing.
