It is pretty neat for the city of Houston to get this. Considering what they’ve been through and considering they’ve never tasted a World Series Championship, I’m really happy for them. Here’s hopin’ they can take down LA.

Please end my sports curse and have Houston win it all. Houston in 6 games. Still want to see Japanese succeed unless it's in an elimination game so Darvish/Maeda pitches well for the Dodgers.

Astros had a great run to this point. Can the pitching hold up one more series? Verlander sucks in the world series. Hope they can do it.

For what it’s worth Verlander did shut down the Dodgers the one time he faced him this year with Detroit, winning 7-1. He pitched 8 innings and struck out 9.

Two games Beltran did not play, two wins. Just sayin'

it seems fitting that these two teams meet given the years they had. Should be a great series. Hopefully these last 2 games were the astros finding their swing again. No prediction from me. Just excited to see the astros in the series.

Got the green light from the boss to get tix. Headed to Game 2 and *possible* Game 6 with my son. I have a feeling it's going 6 or 7. Go DODGERS!

The players rejoice.... LA to NY flights would have been nuts. Shorter flights make players happy.
