CryRod Taylor Says Black QB'S held to a different Standard

It seems to be something new everyday. Just go play and win and things will take care of themselves.

Because you're a black quarterback, and it's never happened to you, of course. :D

lol

So non whites should never comment on white players?

'When we win, everything's great. When we lose, they want to crucify me.'

Uh.. that's every QB (and player, and coach, GM, owner, etc..) on every team ever. Someone might need to whisper that into Tyrod's ear. It has nothing to do with him being black, or being a running QB.

preakness 10-15-2017 07:43 PM

Jay cutler must be black based on how media and fans treat him

Lovie smith turned the Illini around

Depends on the black QB but eh I could see this being more truer than lie

As Paul Mooney said it best "everybody wanna to be a "n" word but nobody wants to be a "n" word"

It is a different stereotype as a black QB no matter how much people wanna disagree

ssbledsoe 10-16-2017 08:59 AM

Hope you got a good deal on this take...

Not sure if your serious, its pretty obvious.

As for the OP, Just waiting for the rule each team has to try out a black qb before they hire like a black coach. Its so dumb, if Belichik becomes available, and says hes signing in Chicago so they Fire Fox why do they HAVE to interview a guy who has 0% shot when its Belichiks job already?

There is so much stuff written on affirmative action, that it's upsetting for people to claim ignorance.

Even without reading which I can see a lot of people hating doing, it costs next to nothing to interview additional candidates.

If you cannot talk about a black quarterback without coming up with a derogatory nickname, you are exhibiting ignorance and that's all racism is. You're just actively announcing that you haven't attained an education, and the system has failed you.

There are too many people on this website who think that things are stupid because they do not understand them.

It shouldn't surprise me, but it does. People think the earth is flat and global warming is a hoax and are very passionate about it. If stuff as simple as that can't be free of contention, of course people will have trouble with race relations.

Being "educated" doesn't bring wisdom - only that you believe what you were taught is right. I am of the opinion that you are wrong in much of what you believe.

Higher education. :)

The thing about education, critical thought, and peer-reviewed studies, is that they're all open and out there for critique. It's science.

Someone publishes something, and it's there for the entire world to dispute and challenge the findings. That's how we get smarter. The information is constantly getting better.

That's the difference between my model and yours. An educated self-reflective person will always use the best information presented to them.

If something runs contrary to their moral belief system, they'll examine it rather than simply dismiss it.

By no means do I think a piece of paper indicates who is educated and who isn't. Some of the greatest minds didn't have their PhDs. A lot of people with PhDs are also idiots.

With that said, if someone is presented with information they have two choices. They can either attain more information (become educated) or they can simply dismiss it as stupid because they do not understand it. The vast majority of people disagreeing here can't even make a coherent argument for why it's "bad." They just call people names which literally adds nothing.
