Possible Fake Tom Brady Auto
 

Haven't we seen this one listed before? If you see the checklist for 2016 honors this card isn't anywhere to be found. You can also see void showing on the sticker at the top. It's scary because many people buy from Probstein, including myself.

This is 100% fake. Look at the two pictures where the stickers for honors are. You can see the back picture is how the sticker should be. The front has the tamper proof letter showing. Looks like void to me or maybe it says panini.

Even the autograph looks fake to me.

It looks fake to me... but I'm no expert. Hand numbered cards don't do a thing for me.

Complete bogus, no shock probstein is selling it though.

I remember seeing a thread on this card before. It is fake. Look at the bottom of the sticker underneath the '0'. It is slightly lifted, meaning someone was careful peeling a sticker off another card. Also, this card is not in the Beckett data base. I would report ASAP

Come one guys, It's not Probstein's fault here. He sells soooooo many items and doesn't have the time to check for fakes. Why should he care if it's fake, it's all on the cosigners. Plus, I just got a steal on one of his auctions in the past, so that makes Probstein a saint. I think that covers it :)

I do put some blame squarely on them. If it was another seller it would be them to,not just because of the name Probstein. But they have been selling cards for a while and should be able to see the clear "Void" here. And I have seen real Brady autos look very similar to that. Unfortunately I have never seen one that Tom's first name "squiggle" runs into the B "squiggle" like that. But that doesn't mean they don't exist but I have had in my hand/owned and seen a lot of Brady Auto's. I have bought from Probstein over the years. My Stafford Super actually came from their auctions. If they are selling it though some of the blame goes squarely on them.

Funny thought, with Panini having trouble with auto pen Daks and others, this card here has no authenticity wording about the guarantee auto by Panini, SO< since Panini's Guarantee STINKS and since there is not one on this card ( guarantee wording) , can the auto be REAL< lmao, lol

It also doesn't have the stamp on the front of the card that the real Honors cards get.

You can barely make it out in the upper right corner. In person you can see it better.

Lots of thieves out there lately. Saw a fake Jerry Rice auto sell for $300 the other day on FB. Hope it wasn't anyone here on Blowout who bought the thing. Or worse, sold it.

Here is my thread on this card from a few months ago. The seller ended up pulling the auction, which we thought was a standup move. But I guess they just didnt want the attention their fake card was bringing, and just dumped it on a consignor instead...

Ah yeah that was your thread. I knew I saw that a while ago.. that's probably exactly what is happening.. Ive already messaged the consignor but got a reply that they "look into it". That was a few days ago and it's currently still up for auction. *shrug*

Exactly. At this rate he will be going on a very nice vacation after investing $10 in a bunch of Brady base cards and a sharpie. Can't believe someone might think these are actually real!
