No, I just love the vintage photos from baseball. Frank Robinson, Paul Blair, Brooks Robinson and Davey Johnson from the 1970 World Champion Baltimore Orioles |
That ASG photo is exceptional. It's kind of funny though.. everyone looks miserable.

1969 All Star Game American League starters:
Bill Freehan, Rico Petrocelli, Sal Bando, Frank Howard, Boog Powell, Frank Robinson, Reggie Jackson and Rod Carew |
The Vet was such a magical place when I was a kid in the 70s. The bright seats in the upper deck were so much nicer than the dull blue they put in later. The giant circular NL logos, and eventually the retired numbers. The green water fountain. And the football bleacher seats behind the outfield fence. Every once in a while a homer would be hit off them, which I thought was cool, for some reason. We didn't have a camera, or I never thought to bring one, but I always had my glove, no matter where we sat.
When I visited decades later as an adult I realized it was such a dump. Or maybe it just became that way. |
Unsure if you have ever seen Graig Kreindler's work but you'd enjoy it.

I still like players today that wear their pants just below the knees. How it is meant to be done.
