I think this kind of went under the radar, but Shawn Kemp is apparently signing now.

When they had him at the VIP party at the National I knew it wouldnt be much longer before they had him in products.

First Ewing, then Kemp. Who's next? Reggie?

Reggie and Duncan are probably the biggest ones they don't have right? Obviously besides players who have exclusives elsewhere.

They're stickers so far only right? I'll get more excited if they get some on card.

One of Panini's strengths is getting new signers though. I would love for them to get Duncan in their top products.

I met Charles Barkley at a bar a couple months ago, he was pretty against signing stuff for companies. Said he's turned down 2 million a year to sign cards/memorabilia. On the flip side he doesn't want to sign for companies because he wants to be able to freely sign autos for fans and doesn't think it's right to charge fans for autos because the NBA already makes enough money off fans in his opinion.

Would love to see a Russ, Harden, and Big O on-card triple. That'd be a helluva pull.

feel like Panini doesnt try hard enough trying to secure new signers. Leaf got Ewing, Sabonis, Karl Malone, Kemp first which probably pushed Panini to get these guys too. Then of course they inevitably have them sign 10,000 stickers in one signing and dump them in ugly products decreasing values all across the board. Boooo

Myself and others caught on to the Kemp autos in the Gold Standard preview thread. They'll be cheap soon, as will Ewing.

Who knows how much Duncan and Reggie autos will drop if they start signing again.

If they got Duncan it'd be a catastrophic price drop for his autos. Crazy high up front yes, but just look at D rob autos. All down hill from there.

The thing is, Duncan Autos are crazily priced due to them being limited and from his playing days.

He should totally sign. For the fans.

And to the above, Duncan Autos will always be more than Robinson, even if they pump them out from now. Nobody has signed as much as the Admiral, which is a great thing.

Don't forget, it is a Hobby.

But on the other hand, if there are still old autos, I just want to get these from topps, skybox and Upper deck. I will never interested in duncans panini autos, if there are some.

Those old TD Autos are trash and people pay crazy $$$ for them. I'd love to see Panini produce some quality Autos of the great man. They have plenty of nice designs.

$500 for a junky unnumbered Topps Auto is outrageous.

I kind of agree, a couple of the old TD autos are nice but some of them suck and people are forced to overpay if they want one. It would be nice to have some other nicer options.

Could you imagine Timmy's Auto on a sticker? No thank you.

I was expecting to get a nice on-card auto product, then what we got is a sucky sticker auto, :mad:

The problem with sticker auto is we usually found the autograph was not in perfect formation because the signer usually didn't have enough space to write the perfect autograph.

Other unpredicted problem is, we still didn't know, how long did the sticker will stuck in the card until the glue dried up and damaging the sticker ? :rolleyes:
