Who is Romo playing for next year?

My guess is AZ. Yours?

Poochie 11-13-2016 11:50 PM

Cowboys

Agreed. I don't think he goes anywhere.

Athey49 11-13-2016 11:52 PM

Damn, tried doing a poll but screwed up. Any way to add one on?

Edit: figured it out

Gordo 11-13-2016 11:53 PM

He needs to retire.
He needs to retire.
That would have been a good option

zKidTulo 11-13-2016 11:57 PM

Even though there's zero chance it happens, I'd love to see him in Houston

Realistically, I'd like to see him go to Denver. maybe the Broncos decide Lynch needs more grooming and they try to replicate what they had with Manning? Would be a huge upgrade over Siemien imo and they still have the supporting cast to make a run.

Torralbae1 11-13-2016 11:59 PM

I'd say the Browns if they decide to not draft a QB w/ the #1 pick.

Given his injury history and the Browns inability to protect their QB's, that wouldn't be pretty. Exhibit A: RGIII

This is the better answer. I love the guy, but he's going to end up a cripple.

ninjacookies 11-14-2016 12:18 AM

It's either the star or retire.

I'd like to think he does the smart move and retires. Helluva career sans a Super Bowl, pretty much everything you could ask for.

Would hate to see him carted off the field in a Joe Theisman type manner instead. Can't imagine he'll be experiencing much upper body comfort in his later years.

rman112 11-14-2016 12:39 AM

If they like Hackenberg as much as they did when they drafted him, then the Jets make a lot of sense IMO

rletlow 11-14-2016 12:42 AM

He will stay a Cowboy, no doubt about it. Dallas knows the need for a quality backup at QB is huge. Prescott is always 1 snap away from IR like every other player.

TWard 11-14-2016 01:09 AM

I don't see any other option right now than Dallas. I think if they gave him the chance to retire as a Cowboy or trade him, I think he'd retire. Not many players nowadays spend their entire career with one team.

But if there is a slim chance that he leaves, I can see the Jets or Browns being viable options.

And although I highly doubt it, San Fran might be a slight option, too. They could draft a QB next year and have Romo as a mentor before handing off the reins to Kizer, Watson, Trubisky, Kaaya or whoever they take.

Retire from the NFL, go bake crownies and then channel his frustrations by using papier-mâché.

lucky16 11-14-2016 01:22 AM

I think he should stay with Dallas. It would be nice to play your whole career with one team.

Not happening. They have RG3 and Kessler. Romo's contract is $$$ and doesn't expire until after the 2019 season. Nobody takes Romo. He's fragile and not going to win a Ring unless Dak does it for him. Back-up Dak and take a seat.

Archangel1775 11-14-2016 02:41 AM

He looked pretty comfortable on the sideline. He's happily along for the ride.

Who is Romo playing for next year?

Who cares

Branesergen 11-14-2016 06:43 AM

Romo will be a starter in Dallas THIS YEAR! Mark my words!

In the last 2 weeks when they're resting their starters hahaha

He'd be smart to stay in Dallas for whatever they offer him. Anywhere else and he's going to get hurt.

dbrown 11-14-2016 07:04 AM

Denver Broncos

preakness 11-14-2016 07:10 AM

Cowboys

Not AZ

Scottish Punk 11-14-2016 08:54 AM

Looking at his contract, if I am reading this right. He is going to make 24.7 mil next year with a cap hit of 19.6. They cut him after next year, he will be owed 8.9 and 3.2 for the following two years instead of 25 or so per. I can't see Dallas doing anything next year and cutting/trading him at the end of next year.

IronMonkey415 11-14-2016 09:14 AM

In Houston taking a knee as the final play of the game when the Cowboys defeat their rivals in the Super Bowl.

Burks 11-14-2016 11:56 AM

Hopefully Cleveland. I don't like Romo. It would give me great pleasure watching him get crushed every Sunday
