Best place for KD ?

There are plenty of teams that want KD.
And all will pay him max money.
So which team does he improve the most ?
And will that improvement make them a Finals contender ?
So which team does he play for and make them the best ?

For me.
Max improvement would be Philly or LAL.
I think both teams make the playoffs only, first round exit.
So as KD is getting paid regardless, I like SAS as the best team with KD.

Do you think OKC went the wrong way with the Serge trade ?
Rumours are KD wasn't spoken to about it.

LAL is nowhere close to making the playoffs...

mhcubsfan 06-29-2016 05:19 PM

The thunder.... I honestly believe sports center is just wasting their time talking about the whole Durant thing. I see no chance KD leaves. A game away from the finals... And now just got a better 2 guard in Olidipo.

ninjacookies 06-29-2016 05:21 PM

No way in hell LA. Aside from them being lightyears away from championship contention, him and Ingram are way too similar of players.

Russellwilson 06-29-2016 05:21 PM

Portland. In my homer opinion

While this is my dream, no way can I see this happening. I mean the team that overlooked him only to take Greg freaking Oden? I think he's got a special place in his heart for Portland...problem is, it's not a good place.

muzikandme 06-29-2016 05:26 PM

I honestly believe he will stay with OKC, Oladipo was a nice pick up Kanter played better then Ibaka in the Warriors series which gave them confidence to start him next season. And if you haven't watched film of Sabonis I strongly suggest you do the kid can ball, I think OKC raped Orlando.

exoticprince 06-29-2016 05:28 PM

Spurs. Oh man what a team that would be, especially with Dunc's career coming to an end. Either that or he signs 2 year with okc with player option after 1 year.

Wouldn't that mean Kawhi would be forced to switch to the 2? Or would they move KD to PF and LA to center?

I was thinking the latter. He'll meet them July 2nd personally that would be such a great team. Parker/Leonard/KD/LA/add anyone else lol

Verufian 06-29-2016 05:38 PM

Anywhere but OKC. But, I have a severe hatred for OKC, so I'll just say he should end up in Portland, having Calabro calling his games, just like it was supposed to be.

I'm just unsure how he'd fit into the system. Pop and the Spurs have always been the antithesis of a high volume shooter showcased star. Well, until Kawhi came along. But even then, I can't see them having a guy consistently jack up 30+ a night, it's just not how their offense works. KD will have to be willing to take a rather large departure from his career role if that were to work out, imo.

realreodeal 06-29-2016 05:44 PM

He is not leaving OKC this year. He needs to get his 10th season in to get his max money next year. That's when he and Westbrook will truly figure out if they want to play together or not, and where.

kairi-2008 06-29-2016 05:46 PM

I understand these seven teams have meetings with KD
Clippers
Heat
Spurs
Warriors
OKC
Celtics
Knicks

I agree that this is what will happen. I think he does what LeBron is doing signing a 2 year with okc with a player option after 1 year. The meetings with the other teams is just to listen to what's out there and massage his ego a little

drobfan8 06-29-2016 06:12 PM

I think it will look a little stupid if KD gets wined and dined and then signs one year with OKC.

I'd love to see him at the Spurs.

Kawhi would have to be at the 2 mostly which is doable, KD would become more efficient and the Spurs have a completely new big 3. Duncan and Manu will just be there as role players and TP will still start.

It's gonna take a good team to beat an angry GS and a confident CLE next year.

Mongol 06-29-2016 08:26 PM

I bet he's only doing the free agency tour so he doesn't have to next year, or next opt out.
He's staying in okc, that's my gut feeling.

Going to warriors would mess up the roster, no Barnes no iggy and no Livingston, and also no respect for Kd if he goes there.

He's absolutely gonna give okc another shot at a title.

Now best place for him, Spurs! They need his scoring.

JMarchand1981 06-29-2016 08:46 PM

He said he is going to play in Israel.

He's holding his meetings in NY and didn't invite the Knicks. I think you can be safe in holding off from jumping back into the blue and orange hell.
