Season 2 bout to start , thoughts !

A lot of hate for this show, but I'm looking forward to season 2.

Mehhh... I try to enjoy things for what they are, not hate them for what they're not.

I like that we see joker becoming a gangster (red hood).

I watched this last week..Nice I can finally talk about it, it was awesome.

I was holding out on the leaked copy, getting ready to watch it now. Finally have a show I can watch again :) ..with nothing on during the summer I started watching SHIELD which actually isnt so bad now that Ive given it a second chance.. or I could have just been desperate for something to watch ;)

I like it. I do see all the criticism for it not matching the comics perfectly, though, but can't figure out why. Who cares? It's entertainment, that's all. I'm with Spider on this, in general. There's way too much criticism and hate anymore. Where's the effin' respect for people doing a job they're passionate about these days? Don't like it, move on. There's probably 1200 other stations for you to search through.

Wait are you talking about The Shield? I meant Agents of Shield :) .. but yes The Shield was one of my favorite shows.

I didn't watch Season 1 yet, but they are advertising the hell out of Season 2 and it looks good.

In seeing this...........why couldn't they get Cameron Monaghan to play joker in suicide squad. I just feel the joker in the movie is going to be a major let down...

The only that that bothered me about the show was that Barbara was able to mix with the men, I mean, hello, sexual assault maybe?

Idk I was under the assumption Barbara put out in order to get that cell phone..After that she was protected by the millionaire.

I thought it was a great episode..it felt more polished then the first season of shows.

Great start to the second season. I thought they were becoming the suicide squad. I saw where Barbara may actually become the first Joker and Jerome will learn from her.

Nope they are the court of owls

Its no longer a monster of the week type series. It looks like they are ready now to establish villains

He recently completed production on the independent films “Staring in the Sun” and “Sweets” and will co-star in two additional independent films, “Celestina” and “Finding Albie Finch.”

McKenzie teased the debut of Eduardo Flamingo during a visit to “Late Night with Seth Meyers” this week, admitting that if “Gotham” season one shared similarities with “Muppet Babies” by telling origin stories of some of Batman’s most iconic characters, season two is more akin to “Child’s Play.” The show will also introduce Mr. Freeze, Firefly, Clayface and the Mad Hatter in its villain-centric sophomore season. Agree. I said DC should stick to television and let marvel have movies. I remember when Superman Returns came out and nobody cared. It came out at the height of the Smallville craze, so it was doomed from the start. I remember wondering why the characters from Smallville weren't being used.

not to derail b/c I love Gotham, but The Shield with Chiklis was best show ever! And to have Chiklis coming on Gotham? Super stoked! (See I tied that back to Gotham!)

Watched Episode 1 of Season 2 last night and the show rocks. Loving it so far.

I thought I was going to like him, but wow was I wrong. He's a blast to watch.

This show is brutal, definitely not for the kiddies. He is the joker, there is no way he isn't and the fact lucious is back also.

Loved the gun scene .my only problem is that well some of the mystic of joker is we dont know who he really is and now well . thats the only reason imma stick to a cliff hanger soon that its not really joker.

I only got about 10 minutes into episode 2 and was beat, so I went to bed, but saw them throwing bodies off the building, and the box on the mayors head. I'm loving the sheer brutality of these villains. I too don't think he's the joker, but perhaps an earlier representation of what the joker will become, but I don't think it's the same guy, but who knows. It's fun.

Cameron Monaghan has to be related to Mark Hamill, because holy crap, that "Ladies and gentlemen, good evening!" sounded exactly like Hamill's Joker. If you're going to sound like a Joker, sound like the best.

Got sidetracked.....then saw a guy was helping the butler fix the bat computer. I need some background on that guy.....

They definitely stepped up the violence this season.

If he's not the Joker then they're setting his successor up for failure because this kid is good.

Yeah he is very good even kinda looks like the guy who lost his job ,donned the red hood and fell into a bat of acid . hmmmmm

Im glad he toned down the emphysema laugh/cough.. that sound was grossing me out.. but then again he is the "Joker" so, maybe he should be gross :)

Just finished episode 2 and overall it was great, but ...

gasoline burns MUCH faster than what they portrayed. There's no way Gordon could have driven that bus off without the fire entering it as there was gas all over it and leading up to the bus. The vapors alone would have ignited and spread faster than you can blink. So outside of that, stellar episode. The Joker kid is great!

Oh I agree he's killing it, but I think they'll say that Jerome is the "inspiration" for Joker. The real Joker will be someone that borrows Jerome's mannerisms and laugh.

I just don't see them giving us the real Joker's backstory.

Was it just me or did any one else catch the Owl image on the rifle case after one of maniax was killed off by the female character in episode 2? The Court of Owls is alive and well...

I haven't seen it yet. I watched the finale of Strain instead, will try and watch Gotham tonight.

Just finished watching. I was a little disappointed at first..really enjoyed the last two episodes so I hope the rest of the season holds strong. But I do like the direction they're going in, the legacy lives on.

Just watched this weeks episode. Gotham is now my new favorite. It used to be Arrow, but now it's Gotham. Loved tonight show, love how dark this series is, and I love how they include a little bit of campy fun (The Giant store for Pyromaniacs, etc... rows and rows of weapons, acid, etc). It was like a Lowes for criminals to get everything they need for their next job.

The shootout between the shopper and Jim Gordon and the Commissioner outside that store was wicked, total comic book fun.

LOVE THIS SHOW.

Yep, Gotham has become my new favorite show over Arrow and Flash. The shootout outside The Merc was unforgettable.. think twice before you steal lol.

Yes and court of owls is building nicely

I had been a few episodes behind but am finally caught up. This show is INSANE and I love it! The development of Edward Nigma has been one of my favorite parts - from the nerdy science guy to brutal killer to schizophrenic has been fun to watch. The friendship he's forming with Gordon is all the more tragic when you know how he turns out.

Now that I've caught up, this is my must-watch show of the week. I can't fall behind like that again!

Wow... another great show with the introduction of Firefly. Cool origin and will continue next week.
Pretty cool how they are introducting the court of owls from the Waynes.
