List the 5 MLBers/prospects in whom you have the greatest current value
Thought this would be fun. Obviously it's optional if you'd rather keep things hush.
1. Sonny Gray 2. Mickey Mantle 3-4. Harper and Trout (roughly equal) 5. Chris Sale As of 9/24/15: 1. Sonny 2. Harper 3. Mantle 4. Trout 5. Seager |
Nice thread.
1. Posey (And it's not even close) 2. Mays 3. Bumgarner 4. Harper 5. Mantle Edit: On second thought Kershaw is up here somewhere, knock Mantle off for Kershaw:) |
I'm not actively seeking prospects, so my list will be former players:
1) Griffey Jr 2) George Brett 3) Frank Thomas 4) Cal Ripken 5) Hard to say...might be Pete Rose, Barry Bonds, or Clemens |
Interesting way of thinking about my collection. I tend not to worry about how values change up/down with my cards (of course I love having more valuable cards, but there's so much more to collecting than what you could sell your cards for), but here's my list-
1. Chris Herrmann 2. Justin Morneau 3. Joe Mauer 4. Brian Dozier 5. Michael Cuddyer |
1) Derek Jeter - mostly due to quantity over quality 5000+ cards
2) Jason Heyward - due to having 2 supers 3) Bryce Harper - only because I have a nice auto 4) - no clue 5) - same as 4 |
Hm, this is interesting. I'm not sure right now but -
1. Rafael Devers 2. Alex Reyes 3. Dylan Cease 4. Hector Olivera 5. Justin Steele |
1.Vogelbach
2.Glasnow 3.Harvey 4.Matz 5.Tellez |
It's hard to say for me, I value my 1/1s more than most people, but that's what there worth, and I'm the only one who can say otherwise.
That being said, here's what I think, with the most valuable card listed so you can decide for yourself if I'm overvaluing my collection of that player): 1. Dee Gordon (Leader of the pack: BC Super Auto @ $1500) 2. Clayton Kershaw (Leader of the pack: BC Refractor Auto BGS 9/10 @ $500) 3. Yasiel Puig (Leader of the pack: 2013 Five Star Jumbo Patch 1/1 @ $500) 4. Shelby Miller (Leader of the pack: 2013 Topps Chrome Super Auto @ $900) 5. Sandy Koufax (Leader of the pack: 2014 Museum Collection Black Framed Auto @ $500) |
