It's so hard for me to predict this three game wild card round.

However, I feel that the Tigers & Red Sox need to win game 1.

The AL side is extremely juicy. The NL side, well, they're playing baseball too :p

LAD over CIN in 2
SDP over CHC in 3

Would love for Sox/Yankees to go 3 games, easily the most intriguing series on the list. On the flip side, Dodgers/Reds looks like a snoozefest on paper, but that'll change quickly if Hunter Greene is good and the Reds steal game 1

Tigers/CLE is a little interesting following the collapse/comeback but can't pretend like I believe in either team at all. Padres/Cubs should be a good matchup and it'd be fun for either of those teams to make a deep run

Can't say I'm a fan of 1pm starts for all the Guards games, seems a little ridiculous, but obviously we all know why.

Hoping the Guards can keep it going and you never know what can happen in the playoffs.

Going to be a fun ride all the way around with good games and teams beyond my fandom.

Do the Cubs have any pitching? Can't say I'm not really impressed by their starters.

That's pretty shocking honestly. With all the playoff expansion through the years, I figured several other previous wild card teams fell into this category.

Terrible defense has lead to this and the run earlier in the game.

Cleveland's defense unfortunately hasn't done the little things and it hasn't done the little things.

Unless something totally changes I think Skubal probably goes the distance. With some of the issues that Detroit's bullpen has had I think you have to just go with your ace.

As a Guards fan I'd welcome that mistake.

Agreed, one more inning if you can get it unless, like Dodgerfanjohn states, they scratch across a couple more runs.

I'm not going to argue with the bunt, because the Tigers offense is inept, but that's why bunting (especially with your #6 hitter who has a lot of power) is dumb.

If the Tigers push across one more run it’s over. I think if it stays at 2-1 it will be tied in the Guardians.9th.

Brought the infield in and opened it up for the hit or sac fly. Batters didn't do their job to get the ball out of the infield. There is a time for analytics and a time to read the game.
