Dallas deserved an arse kicking for those stair lights in their arena.

Blues-Jets will be the best 1st round series in the West. The Sunshine State battle is my pick for the most entertaining series to come out the East.

Well we found out what happens when you don't make the playoffs. Kraken Fire their head coach again and Ron Francis is no longer the GM.

Dang just saw Oilers highlights, must be heartbreak for McDavid he gave it his all out there.

first two games of Ottawa-Toronto show us that the Leafs havent really changed. Yea they're up 2-0 but they've been outplayed at 5v5 in both games. Sure it works against the Sens but relying on Stolarz and the PP against the eventual big boys will mean another quick exit.

They do. And yet they've been comfortably better at 5v5 than Toronto so what does that say about Toronto's chances against better teams?

People didn’t doubt or at least believed in a team with Jordan or Gretzky. They also have another of the best players in the NHL, they also just made the finals as mentioned. We aren’t talking about the Blackhawks here.

I'm an Oilers fan, not surprised in the least.

I told anybody who would listen last year that the worst thing that could've happened to them was making the Finals last year.

Cause management was gonna say "hey we can make the Finals with this piece of crap in net, why spend money on a goalie" and not make the changes they should've.

Maybe now that they go out in the 1st round, they'll actually get a true #1 goalie in there...

They are both having an insane series. This has been a ton of fun as a Wild fan, heading into the playoffs I didn't expect them to go very far this year, but they look like they belong. Big chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead at home this afternoon

Landeskog playing in his second game since raising the cup in 2022, three knee surgeries removed, and having a game like that was awesome to watch. Dallas was a tough draw in the first round for the Avs but hoping they can pull it off with their Captain back.

Leaf - Sens is close but Leafs seem to be a strong team this year ... good series so far

It would be pretty Leaf-like to somehow blow this series lol

The audio is so bad on TNT. You can barely hear the crowd. Switching to the Sportsnet feed and back really exposed that. Bad for the Kings-Oilers game too.

Oilers back, told ya Pickard the truth

The end result wasn't his fault, but Byfield will be haunted by that play if the Kings end up losing the series.

A simple flip out of the zone would've all but locked up a 3-1 series lead.

Big wins for the Panthers & Stars. They just might end up seeing each other in the Finals.

The Leafs should still win this but honestly, it's the same old team. They just arent playing a team good enough to punish their poor play and it'll be too little, too late for Ottawa.

I said to myself last night, if the Leaf's lose this game they are done, and sadly, I think they are.
Ottawa is playing good and the Leaf's are definitely frustrated and angry with each other (some) and that is not a good thing.
I also think the book is out on Stolarz to shoot high. Maybe Woll next game (?) will boost them, give them some confidence/hope, but if Ottawa gets the first goal, and especially the second, the Leaf's are finished.

I didn’t imagine a 4-0 shutout loss at home so I’m prob not the one to ask lol assumed even 2-0 in third ok maybe they get a 6-5 empty netter make it 2-1, didn’t expect a win but didn’t expect that.

I also have Boston in recent memory as I actually bet on Toronto to win that series, while not as bad the Leafs know how to blow a series lead

This Panthers team reminds me very much of the Kings teams that won cups in that their entire blueprint is for playoff success and the epitome (IMO) of how to build a hockey team.

They have an elite centres, including the best two way one in the league. Incredible depth up front in Reinhart, Verhaege, Marchand, Tkachuk, etc. They play a tough, nasty brand of hockey, have a great blueline and a top tier goalie. They'll be a tough out for anyone over 7 games.


And everyone that was like "oh they finished 3rd in the division" lol. Laughable comment. They could have been WC2 and have still been the Eastern favourites IMO.

Leafs manage to close it out with Nylander getting three points

How fing dull is Sassy Campbell. Embarrassing to have that dolt on a hockey broadcast.

Vegas getting the much needed win. Toronto as well.

Game 7 between the Avalanche & Stars will be a great game.

Watched the Edmonton highlights this morning, game got a little too close for comfort at the end...

I'd like to see Toronto vs Washington, but not sure anybody is beating Florida right now...

Vegas/Edmonton winner to play Colorado, hopefully, that'd be a nice series too...

Dallas will be a tough out on home ice in Game 7

Congrats to the Leaves for dispatching the Sens; the great thing about the Florida series is that they will potentially be able to pack their golf clubs with them and just stay down there after they get swept!
